Inter 2-0 Bayern Munich

May 23, 2010 3 comments

Diego Milito gave Inter Milan a 2-0 win over Bayern Munich to win the Champions League trophy. Jose Mourinho has proved to be the best manager in the 21st Century completing a first ever treble of a Coppa Italia, the Serie A and the Champions League. Mourinho, who will be moving to Real Madrid in an exchange for Manuel Pellegrini to Inter, got the better of his mentor. Luis Van Gaal used to teach Mourinho how to coach in the early 90s and Mourinho proved that he learnt everything. Ivica Olic had a great chance to put Bayern ahead with a penalty which eventually hit the bar. Later when Inter were leading the match 1-0, German legend Bastian Shweinstrieger got another chance with a free kick from 35 yards that goalie Julio Cesar tipped over the bar.
