Year 6 Completion Assembly and Dinner

Dear Parents,

As we stated in earlier correspondence, next week is a special week for our Year 6 students and we would like to remind you of some details.

The Year 6 Completion Assembly

Thursday 7th June: Y6 Completion Assembly

(9:30-11:00am in the NIST Theatre)

We cordially invite all parents to ‘The Year 6 Completion Assembly’ that will start at 9:30 am and finish at approximately 11:00 am. The Year 6 students are welcome to arrive as normal but if this is inconvenient, they may travel to school with their parents prior to the assembly. Whichever option is selected, students will need to be at school no later than 8:30am in order to prepare for the Completion Assembly. Mr Doug is expecting ALL of the Year 6 students to come to school looking smart and in their school uniform.

Girls: Pale Blue school shirt, a navy blue bottom, white socks and closed in shoes (trainers etc). Culottes are also fine to wear.

Boys: Pale Blue school shirt, a navy blue bottom, white socks and closed in shoes (trainers etc).

The Year 6 students will go home after the Completion Assembly with their parents to rest and prepare for the Completion Dinner.

The Year 6 Completion Dinner

Thursday 7th June: Y6 Completion Dinner – Grand Millennium Hotel (Asoke)

(Photos 5:30pm Dinner 6.00-9:00pm)

The Year 6 Completion Dinner will take place at the Grand Millennium Hotel (30 Sukhumvit 21 (Asoke) Road ). The evening starts at 5:30pm for photographs and finishes at 9:00pm.

Students should start arriving at the Grand Millennium Hotel no earlier than 5.15pm. NIPTA have kindly organized a 30 minute photography session for student photos to be taken at the hotel starting at 5:30 pm.

The dress code for the dinner is smart casual. The students will be shown photographs of the range of clothing that is suitable for this event.

The students will be required to pay a fee of 650 baht for the dinner. This needs to be paid to the Elementary Office by Tuesday, June 5th. We will be served a delicious menu that will include Western, Vegetarian and Thai dishes.

The evening dinner is specifically for the students and their teachers. Therefore we request that parents drop off their child /children at the Grand Millennium, then return to pick up their child/children at 9.00pm. We do require that you provide transport for your child to and from the hotel.

As it is a school day on Friday, we ask that you are punctual in picking up your child at 9.00pm. The person picking up your child should come into the hotel foyer to collect them as we will not be allowing students to leave the building unaccompanied. If on Friday morning your child needs a short sleep-in, we will leave this to your discretion.

Best Regards – Year 6 Teachers
