I watched it twice and i i got it. If you make a poster and it says “Please buy this” only a few people would be intrested but if you say somthin creative like:
“Its a very nice shirt, a lot of people in the world would only dream to have it”

I watched it once and i got it the video means that if you change the words and make it more creative you will get more attention. For example if you are blind don’t say that “help me am blind”. Instead you could say ” It’s a beautiful day but I can’t see it”. Like that lady who wrote the new speech on the cardboard.

I think the meaning of this video is that if you make things creative people would be much more interested. If you do “Please give me money” and you need money, you won’t get as much if you write something creative like ” I am broke of money and I am really hungry and thirsty” that way you will get more people attention, get more money and you get to express your feelings.

I watched it a few time and I think the meaning in this video is if you make words more creative you get more attention like what Tammy said. e.x: this ball has a discount people will think the discount is really cheap and if you said 200 buat discount people will say wow that is really cheap now its 200 baut discount. so if you make it sound better it will have lots of attention.

I watched the video a few times and I think that the meaning is that if you change the words from something boring like “taste this” to something creative and interesting like “nobody else has tasted something like me” more people will taste it or pay more attention.

I think that what the lady did by changing his sign was a lot better than if she gave him money. I wonder who made the video and why they made it. Does anyone have any ideas? I think maybe they made it to advertise something but I’m not sure. I think it’s very important to have catchy headings for things so that it attracts other people’s attention. I think the lady was a little bit like the blind man’s “marketing agent”.

I watched it twice and I got it. What it means is that if you get on sentence for example “I am blind please help me” but if you think outside the box and make the sentence much more creative then it will increase people’s understandings even better. I think that if you just write a small short sentence people won’t even bother to look at you but if you write something even more interesting then people will want to read and help you. The reason they will help you is because of what you write. I feel there was a big difference between the two sentences because when he wrote ” I am blind please help me” only some people cared and gave money but when that lady wrote ” It’s a beautiful day but I can’t see it”. People helped because they felt that they can see the beautiful day that the poor blind man can’t. I think it is all about how you explain it to people to make them understand better.

That is indeed a lovely video. It made me think how changing little things trigger big differences. Who thought that changing one sentence can cause such a big change in the response of people?
Change after all is not that frightening! It does not have to make us feel anxious or paralyzed. Quite on the contrary, we need to relax, reach out to our state of playfulness and just be creative.

I have learnt that one small thing can change something a lot for an example if you say “buy this it is cheap” it does not have the same effect as “buy this and get it while it is still cheap” this is a marketing thing most shopping places use! I know this totally connects to our unit for example if we all have the same idea we do not have the same outcome because people all do it in a different way!
I think words can change a lot of things like lots of famous writers because of their ways of saying the thing and not the idea. I will put this video in a football example if you get the ball and dribble past two people it does not have the sme effect as if you dribble past someone doing a trick it is all about how it looks!

I watched this video a few times but the first time I watched it I understood what it meant, at first on the cardboard it said “I’m blind please help” and he didn’t get much money and then with just changing the words into “It’s a beautiful day but I can’t see it” people noticed it and it was more eye catching so when people walked by they gave him money.
The woman didn’t give the blind man money but she gave him something much better, with just a small change made a huge difference. And what the blind man first wrote wasn’t that eye catching because its what everyone would have written but the one that the woman wrote was different.
so i watched it once and my under standing is that if you just use simple words with no creativity it wont interest poeple but when you use creative words like its a beutiful day and i cant see it it will make poeple feel bad so they would give you lots of money but if you say im blind its just boring.
so thanks to that girl he might one day have enough money for an opperation or something.

I think that video had a really good qoute in it ” Change Your Words Change The World.” I think the meaning of this video is a little effort can make a change. Another good qoute was ” I Wrote the same thing but in differnt words.” I think after the lady changed the sign they felt really sorry becasue it hit them that it is a beautiful day and he can’t see it, the lady created compassion to the people around the blind man.

From watching this clip, we should have learnt that changing words into a more creative and eye catching, you will get more attention from people.
For example it says “I’m blind please help” ,you won’t gain a lot. If you change it to “life is boring, because I can’t see” or “It’s a beautiful day but I can’t see” ,you gain a lot more because it’s more eye catching and creative.

I think this video is about using powerful messages in one sentence can make a huge different of understanding like presenting in a powerful way! I think this is also about how lucky we are that we can see what is going on on the word around us, and how important it is to be apart of the society.
Can I add on? If yes, I also think that it is very important that we offer some little help or some help to others if they need it! I think that that small change can make a big difference if people actually do it, TAKE ACTION! It can make a word a better place and it also can develop the society.
Also the woman is kind of expensing he blind man’s feelings if he can see the world of if he knows it is a lovely day! The woman is expressing herself too, by writing those words it shows that she is offering the man some help. It shows that she cares. First I thought that the woman was gonna write something bad but my first guess was wrong.
This video isa excellent video, it develops my understanding in a very positive way. This A very powerful video about why we should use powerful words and what is it’s effect.

I watched this video twice and I got the message and the message is that if you use the same old simple signs people will react the same ways such as when the man put the sign that said I’m blind please help me people will not know why they need to help him but then when the lady changed the words into it’s a beautiful day and I can’t see it it makes people know why he wants help and also it makes people also feel that they want to help this man because everybody wants to see a beautiful world don’t they?

i think that it is a really inspiring video for me the most inspiring bit is that its 1:40 minutes but i think i learned more than I could in a 1 hour movie the quote that was important was change your words. change your world. I think it is really good and also it says im blind give me money that makes people think hes a beggar and people pity him but when the women changed the sentence into its a beautiful day and i cant see it that made people feel sad for him its like something they do in ads they make it sound better than it actually is.

I think the message of this video is to think of things in a positive and creative way instead of a neutral or or negative and boring/standard way. I also think think this video is related to our current unit because the lady was creative in the was she paraphrased the man’s words.
This video looked familiar to me and when I finished watching it, I realized I had read a written version of this before. But I think the video is a much more powerful way to express the story.

I think this video teaches us a very good lesson about creativity and inspiration. I watched this video twice.The woman used her creativity to help the blind man. First, I thought she was writing bad words so he can’t earn money because she looked rich and greedy. Also she didn’t give the man even a single coin so I thought the woman was wicked. But, she wrote really good words so people gave him money. I feel really sad for the blind man. I was inspired to give a money to a beggar next time and try to help them.
If I can, I will try to find another video related to this kind of video.
Even though the woman ain’t give him a single penny, she made the words clear.
I think that the woman wasn’t helping him by giving money, but by giving him words, which caught more people’s attention. I think that giving people, isn’t always the best solution, even though, you still help if you do. When I was in Germany there was someone begging on the street, and a woman gave him a sandwich that she had actually bought for herself. This video inspired me t maybe do something else than give money to people who are begging on the street. The window cleaning girls, and boys near Asoke, wanted to clean our windows, my mom knew that they had been forced to do so, instead of going to school, so she gave them a bag of cookies. If you watch more videos that are related you might find something that inspires you.

My mom saw this advertisement and she thought she wanted to share it.
I think we are very lucky that we can see so we should use our sight to help others that can’t in different ways. I also have a connection because remember that quote or something that Mr. Sam showed us “People Ignore Design That Ignores People” No offence to the guy but people just saw him and thought Oh a Blind man that wants money. And then gave money but the tipping point was when that woman came and changed how it was written and then suddenly everyone just started giving money. My mom said the message was stronger it made people think then act and it caught more peoples attention. What I found dissapointing was in the beginning nearly everyone completely ignored him but he was still trying, which shouldn’t really be happening. After watching this I went to watch another advertisment called Disconnect to Connect and I found it quite similar. It is also related because when the dad saw the kid he looked outside of the box(Which is his phone) and first everyone disconnected with him but at the tipping point, everyone started to connect and give money. Realising there is someone there asking for help. I learned that everyone is outside for you but it depends if you bring them in.

I watched this video twice. I was surprsise that just changing the words makes a big difference. I think the message of this video is that if you make something creative it stands out. The way the woman helped the blind man was creative. The woman didn’t give any coins to him but helped him by changing words and making people feel sorry for him. He got lods of money.

this is a really powerful message in a simple video. What the blind person wrote which is ‘I’m blind please help’ didn’t make him lots of money. But when the women wrote, “It’s a beautiful day and I can’t see it” everybody helped him. I learned that just by how you change your saying or your words you can make a difference. First I wondered, ‘what did the woman write? She looks fancy so I guess she is writing something bad.’ But when people read what she wrote the man got so many money so I wondered what she wrote. Which actually was, “It’s a beautiful day and I can’t see it”. Now I know that writing things positive and creative can make a difference to everypeople’s lives. Now I want to remind myself everyday if I had negative effects to people or the other way?

I think the message was that if you are creative and positive, you can attract attention. I also think that the woman helped the blind man in a way, because she helped him to have a better sign, like a marketing agent. She made the sign more special so people would read it because it was catchy rather than plain and simple like the original. The woman kind of looked like a businesswoman, because she dresses how my mom usually dresses: black suit and briefcase.
This is very inspiring, especially the quote at the end, and also the way the woman was creative. The music also affects the way we feel. Try watching the video without music. You will feel different from what you felt when you watched the video. The tempo, speed, rhythm, and many other things are connected to how we react.
After the sign was changed, I felt like I wanted to throw him some coins because the sign sometimes brings out emotion and feelings, and also it attracts people. At the beginning, I felt like I would not throw him any money because the sign was plain and not attractive.

I watched this about 7, 8 times. I got the message in a 2,3 times but I kept on watching it because I thought it was really interesting and it was a good inspiration for me. I think this video is trying to tell us that words can change someone else’s life good or bad. I think it means that the words are one powerful element. It is also trying to tell us we should think before you say words. It is also telling us we should use powerful and creative words or sentences instead of boring ones that we usually do at school whenever we write in our words books. In the video as you can see the lady just changed the words from “I’m Blind Please Help.” into “It’s A Beautiful Day And I Can’t See It.” The lady wrote in a different way but it still had meant that the guy was blind and desperately needed help. She also made the important part “Can’t” into a bold writing so it could stand out to people. It was more effective than the boring and dull sign that the old man wrote in the start. I also noticed that in the start when the sign was still boring everyone was throwing the money and the guy had to take it, but when the lady came and changed the writing into a better and more heart stabbing writing people started to treat him more nicely by placing the coins in or close to his hands so he wouldn’t need to struggle finding them.
Some examples in real life are in teasing. If you make a mistake maybe someone will say “Why can’t you do that man” and it might hurt a bit but if someone said “you s**k why can’t you do that properly you I***t” and start saying more stuff that hurt definitely you would be deeply hurt. I had that experience a lot of times in my whole life in school. Also we need powerful words in the advertising world. If you are advertising something like an ice-cream. If you say ice-cream for sale people won’t start buying it but if you say ice-cream cold and refreshing healthy ingredients used (no sugar), it will be more effective to some people and it will get that ice-cream shop attention for that time. You need to use powerful and creative ways if you want attention. This video taught me that words are really powerful and could change something into something good or something bad easily.
I’ve enjoyed reading your thoughts 6SS! For me, this video made me think about how the way we express ourselves has an impact on other people. When people read the second sign, they felt a great sense of empathy for him and that led to compassion. The words we say and how we say them really matter to other people.
