A Cultural Flickr Project

Tomorrow is UN Day and we were going to come to school in national costumes. Now the school is closed, how can we celebrate our cultures and make connections and comparisons?

I know… a Flickr photography project!

Spend some time over the next couple of days taking photos around your house. Find things that represent your culture, your nationality and your beliefs or values. Upload them to Flickr and put them in the “Cultural Connections” set. I will put this in the “Who we are” collection.

You could take photos of:

  • antiques
  • furniture
  • decorations
  • food
  • pictures
  • art
  • rugs and carpets
  • clothes
  • anything else you can think of

    Hi 6SS,

Gina you miss school!? Well me to but the problem is we have to do it at home rather than having to do it at school which is more better because it is SCHOOL! When we come home we rest not work again!

Anyways surprisingly I have a lot of things from my country England like football, J.K. Rowling who wrote the hit series harry potter, Rugby, Tesco, Big Nate writer Lincoln Pierce.

      Hi Billy,
I think going to school is good too because then you could learn alot of things and you also could meet your friends! Also I agree with you because if there is no school you have more time with your family.

    Dear Mr.Sam,
Sorry but I can’t upload things to flickr. I don’t know why but there is a technical problem on flickr.
