Do you get to do this enough?

I was really amazed by how you all really wanted to have a go at putting the clothes rack together – so amazed that I videoed it!

Do you love to work with your hands? Do you get to to do it enough? How can we give you more chances to do it?

    Hi Mr.Sam,

I like to work with my hands because it’s fun to feel, touch and do something interesting like putting up a clothes rack. I think I get enough of it at home but at school I think you should bring things and ask us to put them up instead of doing them yourself.

Could you guys bring in things and make them or put them together? What kind of things?

      Daniel’s Mum – that is a wonderful idea – let’s do that!

Come on Daniel… is it really to say that? Should we always get other people to do these things for us?

I thought so too. I’d love to hear from parents with ideas for how we can introduce more opportunities for kids to use their hands.
