I will acheive to make more lesser water NIST uses. I also will make the school people not to waste it.
I will acheive it by making posters or pursuade people to use water bottle. Also I will make people shock and tell people about what is going on in our school nad other places. And I have to figer out how can we work out to use lesser water with out wasting and others to drink.
I will show it by telling the audiance what I have done so far and what I acheive also What I wanted to acheive more. ( I also need to organise it.)

I will tell it by gathering all the information together in one piece of work.
My plan is that to put posters around the Elemetry water fountains and check them if it is effective. Then I will show people and gether other people’s thinking and then finish it. I have to put all the information in steps.

I will share it by making a paragraph and to talk to people.

Today I’ve achieved putting things in my poster and I’m done doing the list. By showing it to the audience as what I said in my first one. I will show to them and talk as well but I’m not really confident talking to lots of people so mabye I will improve so I can get ready for the exhibition day.

I want to teach bullies how bullying affects victims and teach victims how to stand up to bullies.

Today I Started working with Jin because manishas idea was different so me and jin made a video and we are going to put it onto a prezi

I want to convents the parent that children between the age a of 9 and 12 are being scared of all of these things and it is effecting there happiness.
Will get the DATA to shock them and put it on a PowerPoint to show what I have found out and use my voice and stage presents to show them what is happening. My main way to show them will be my voice!!!!
You will need to make sure you have some real information to shock them with.
By the time I am done interviewing everyone then I will have the info to shock or get people very interested about my topic. I think it will be a topic that would be interesting for people to know about even if they are not parents.
What do you think people will really be interested in?
I want to achieve some change. Something like change 2-3 people instaed of using cars and try to make them carpool- or walk or make a ecofriendly choice, I’ll choose the people who use cars and their house is near school. I’m not sure how I will achieve it- I think I’ll have to think more- but for now, I think I will achieve this my persuading them- something like sharing information that they are part of and persuade them- make them shocked so that might be a possibility that they would change- and they might change a few of their friends. i was thinking to make like a model- of or something between a poster and a sculpture. I think I’ll draw lots of pictures and diagrams to express my work- because I’m not very good at “concluding” words.

I might’ve I changed a little- I think hwat I want to achieve in the Exhibition is to change some people who use cars and try to tell them not to. I think I’ll achieve it is by telling people what they are doing to us and shock them. I think Im going to chare my work by making a sculpture and some posters and combining them. I mihgt add a little comic strip. The sculpture might be like a car- since thats what Im doing.
How can you create a sculpture that really shocks people and causes a shift in thinking?
I think you should try and make the stulpture big, amusing and eye catching so that people don’t just pass it without noticing it.
I would like to achieve a change for at least me-in the next few days/weeks i would be a more confident person. I will not end up sending e-mail to a teacher, discussing an issue or complaining to my mum. I will also like to achieve a lot of audiences coming to my exhibition and have them thinking about themselves afterwards and reflecting on themselves.
For being strong about myself, if there is any teasing going on I will think about the strategies I have developed throughout the past weeks, and use them to help me. Then I will reflect at the end of each day if my confidence was pushed down, and maybe write a paragraph about my actions.
For having a lot of audiences, I would have to have some real plans about ways to present my work in a attractive way to receive an amount of audiences. I will ask them after presenting how their thinking has been shifted and how they feel now about their confidence to see if they have been listening. If that idea won’t work, I could ask for their e-mail and create a survey to send to the people who looked at my work.
I would share my work by probably in a story board way-as in drawing some pictures for visual communication, and have bubbles coming out of the peoples’ heads. I would have story boards about each David Hicks’ questions and other things if needed. I will try to make it as effective as possible by making it simple, clear and to the point. I have to use my art skills to make it look affective in order to receive many audiences.
What is the main message you want to share with people?
I want to tell people that others do not have the right to push your own confidence down. It is hard and I understand. I want them to know how important confidence is and there are many ways to handle with lack of confidence.
Yeah I agree many kids in school get their confidence pushed down also you did i just saw it recently. I feel really bad about his too and would like to see what will change. I hope that people would realize that they are pushing other confidence down. 🙂
So far I have developed another idea. I used to be writing to Mr Sam every free time session in the first semester. Me and Mr Sam came up with an idea of making a diary. I would type ein every piece of writing and produce a little book. I am now working on it by typing in all the stories and all the pieces of writing I have written. For my idea of drawing kind of a comic strip (above) I have also thought about making comic strips for what I have done and how I have changed. So far I have got the design visualized in my head but I will start the drafts today.
I have decided to make the diary because my talent is writing, and I would like to use that talent adn skill to make my exhibition more powerful.
I will finish typing all of the stories in, then work hard on the comic strips. When I have te comics done, I will start to format my diary and get it printed out. I will check and proof read those 2 final products at the end.
I am also going to include the e-mails I have sen to Mr Sam when I had problems related to confidence. I want to include those pieces of writing into my diary too because it also counts!
I’m excited about this idea, Am. It’s going to be hard work to get all that writing typed up in order to make a book, but it’ll be worth it!
I will try to achieve to make people to not wash there hands in the drinking water and make them use reusable water bottles to not waste drinking water. I will show them how much drinking water is left on the earth and tell then the prefeble future. I will show my work by movie maker, paper, xtranormal
What is the best way to communicate with your audience? Who is your audience?
I want to shock people by showing them what can really happen to people when they have friendship issues and that it can really effect your health, well-being and happiness.
I will achieve it by showing them videos which shows excaclty what happens to your boday and well-being. Then I will also show them what causes this and how you can see if anyone is effected.
I will make a video with my mate Sebi to really show them what can happen to yourself then I will also show them a poster that me and Sebi made.
You made that poster in one hour, you’ll need to spend a lot more time on your products to make them more professional.
When are you actually going to start making the video? I have seen nothing yet, not even a script or collection of ideas.
Mr. Sam we have started making a script already and we will start making the video tommorow but peter pan was at lunch time so we didn’t have time. But tommorow we will start making the video.

Me and Sebi now have an idea of only showing the video that we are making right now becuase we are trying to get all our information in to the video and so instead of showing a boring power point with ten million slides we were thinking to act it out instead.
Before me and Sebi were also thinking about passing millions of sheets out to the teachers about friendship issues and how to solve them but that idea we have changed and we were thinking of acting that out as well.

I really enjoyed the video. I chose the options that I would’ve chosen in real life and I think it was the right thing.
What I would like to acheive is first of all many peole come to view my exhibition work,start a cricket club, and make everybody realise,what it is that I am trying to say.

I think I will make a powepoint withjust quesions but, say everything i need to explain with the David Hick’s About Issues. Then show them the information and data I got. then give brochoures for my cricket club tell them about the history give them a questionare and then tell them that they should play the sport they want or do the thing their good at if they have the oppportunity to and if they don’t will tell them to do what i did start a club of their own.
These are interesting ideas. Try to keep it very simple though.
Your plan sounds good but you could use your talent more which is drawing. I also think you should try and get the cricket club started next week so that you can tell the people you present to a complete story of what you have done.

Here’s how my plan gone by:
When I thought of working solo, Mr. Sam called me, Michael and Manisha to talk to us. He asked us the achievement we were going to make, and Michaél’s and miné were the same, so we worked togéther. Mr. Sam told us to make a good film so the audiencé at the exhibition can seé. So we decided to make an act, not interviewing peoplé because it might be a bit dull. We made an act about bullying and effects that people have. Even though it was a bit épic, we did our best and we tried not to laugh but wé did. I think our work is going pretty well and we hope that we should work our butts off and maké it as good as possible.
You have to do it without laughing. Perhaps you shouldn’t involve SaeYeon because he is always funny and silly!

I would like to achieve creating awareness around people so some of them can reduce their time. Also I’d like to achieve for some of my friends to reduce their time spending looking at a screen.

I would achieve it by finding shocking information then processing it into a summary or i can do bullet points and I can show it to the school and they will have awareness.
I am thinking right now that I would like to show my work visually like sculptures. I think that wouldn’t bore people. I also like to draw I love art and I’m not that good at expressing my whole thing by talking. Maybe Sculptures/posters/models will help and it would be enjoyable doing it to.

Yeah, today I have planned with Mr. Sam about my exhibition. I was really excited about it. Today I have achieved many thing like having more ideas for my exhibition. Also I got lots of help and supports like I will get help from Mr. Josh for sculptures. Yeah I think Aayush’s idea is really going to be a great idea. For now me and mr sam thought of making screens or getting really old computers and sticking effects of you looking at too much screens on them. Also i’d get a big board then write my main message in the middle and write “ideas to have fun with out a screen” I would list them on. Today Mr. Sam and me, we were disscussing about this, I also thought it was a great idea. For now I am writing the effects on the powerpoint. Tomorrow I would get help from mr. Josh about the sculptures 🙂
my goal is to have milk served at 11:30 so kids can have some dairy in their diet and I want kids to eat more healthy. well how I will get kids to eat healthy and the way I am going to acomplish my goal is I am going to a nipta meeting and I will ask if I can have milk at 11:30 and for eating healthy I will ask if I can put some vegtables in the burger. on the day if I have not made anything I will show the things I have acomplish.

I want to achieve making the atmosphere of the cafeteria more relaxed and calm. I also want to give children at least 10 more minutes to eat and educate kids on how it is not good to eat for 10-15 minutes.
I will achieve this by do these things:
1. Get photos of the cafeteria to show in the NIPTA presentation
2. Practice our NIPTA meeting presentation.
3. Show and improve our presentation by presenting it to a teacher
4. Present my presentation to NIPTA.
5. Get NIPTA to help us by buying frames.
6. Try to get painting/drawings made by the NIST students up on the walls of the cafeteria.
7. Try and get some nice calm music installed in the cafeteria.
8. Try to convince NIPTA to get Y2- k1 to eat at 12:15 so year 3, 4, 5, 6 gets more time to eat.
9. Install a timer which can calculate how long you have chewed on a morsel and then tell you how long you should spend on a morsel.
I am thinking of sharing my work using prezi, talking and showing proof of what I have learned. I will show proof by using real life photos of the atmosphere in the cafeteria.
Another idea I have is to put a big screen in the cafeteria and to have a weekly schedule.

Yes I think so. I know it will be diffucult so I am putting it on the bubble meaning if I can complete putting the frames and music up then I will like to work on this idea.
I have already found out we have old projecterwhich have been swapped for smartboards. So I am thinking of using a old unused projecter.

I have completed 3 things in my plan list today. Firsty I got photos of the cafeteria and secondly practiced my NIPTA meeting. Thirdly I showed and improved my presentation.
Tomorrow I am going to present my NIPTA presentation which will take lots of my time tomorrow.

First, I will make some questions for interview. And, I’ll send an E-mail to teachers. If they have time, I’ll interview people. And I’ll tell them what I want to give.
I didn’t make one yet, but I think I’ll make a poster to show how to be both happy and healthy.

I would like to achieve changing the way I think about friendship issues and I hope I can change some peoples thinking about friendship and I hope that they learn something from my presentation. I will achieve it by shocking people by the video that I will make, showing them the solution by giving them the solution chart. I will present a video that will shock people and what could happen to you if you have friendship issues. I will also show the solution to it and I will give the solution to the teachers and parent because the solution is a chart and it could help them.
Can you explain how your thinking has changed about friendship issues?
For my presentation in the exhibition I am still doing a video but we have changed it because we have been inspired by some people. We have seen a video on youtube called Chose your ending and we decided that we are going to use that idea for our presentation. We have made big brainstorms of what we are going to do with that idea.
If you work hard enough, the video will be fantastic. I just hope you can manage to work hard enough.

I will shift soe teachers’ think about help the new studenst out side the classroom, like during break time and lunch time.

I want to achieve putting potted plants on the Year6 deck. I also want to achieve being part of NIST’s nature plans for the future. Paula and I are having interviews with 3 very important people. We are interviewing Mr. Paul Hamlyn and Khun Wantana (Member of the School Board) tomorrow and on Wednesday we are interviewing Mr. Simon Leslie. This will ensure that Paula and I will be involved I any nature plans for the future if they have any. This is Paula and my step-by-step plan on how we are going to achieve our first goal (Putting potted plants on the deck):
– Buy seeds, pots, soil and maybe already grown plants (or if the school has any we could use it)
– Plant seeds/already grown plants
– Place potted plants on Deck
This is our step-by-step plan on how we are going to be part of NIST’s future nature plans:
– Interview Khun Param (Francois Stadtmann) and ask if they have plans for the future and if we can be involved
– If that doesn’t help, Interview Mr. Adrian Watts on the same thing/topic
– If that doesn’t help, Interview Khun Wantana from the School Board on the same thing/topic

What are you hoping to find out about NIST’s plans for the future? What would be really exciting?
Since I know that NIST is planning to have building 2 and 3 bulldozed, I am hoping that they decide to turn that space into a jungle or just a nice and natural place to hang out. I have heard from the campus manager (Khun Param aka Francois Stadtmann), Mr. Adrian Watts and Mr. Paul Hamlyn that NIST will most probably make the space occupied with at least some nature. I find this really exciting. I can’t wait to see what NIST will look like when building 2 and 3 have been replaced with something in a few years!!
Don’t wait for it Sam. Be part of it.
I would like to achieve, something like 1-2 people coming in a car to NIST they could carpool or use a healthy way to come to NIST like walking, biking ETC. Sometimes using a public sharing transport like the BTS is helpful to because then there would be less cars by that plus it will make you use a healthy way to come to school because then you have to walk. I will achieve it by telling and persuading them to make them have a better life than sitting in a car and doing nothing while coming to school they could have a better and fun way to come to school. And after they do that I will tally mark them if they continue or if they forget. I will share my work by drawing and making good information in to good posters.

Yes!
I will try to persuade the students and teachers who live nearby and come to school in car and request them to use other kinds of transport. I will focus on them first because they live closer to school. It may be easy to convince them to use bicycles or just walk it as that is the healthier option. I could try to make them understand that good health is important and not using cars will add to that.
Here what was my plan today:
Today my plan was to plan to design my sculptures and start my posters. I have not fully planned how my sculpture will look like. And I finished my first draft of my poster, but when I when I showed to Pimboon she thought that my picture was scary. My poster is badly designed but I am working on it. Ms.Angela thought of me and Pimboon do our exhibition together with Pooja because she was working on the same thing. I don’t know If I can but if we can I am O.K but then Pimboon has to decide. Which I think she is O.K with it to. So far Pooja helped us a little bit by giving us some good information about the cars that come to school, and she gave us some ideas. And all of the help she gave us was helpful. And the paper that Mr.Sam gave us to fill was helpful to because now we know what to do.

How will your sculpture persuade people to use different forms of transport to come to school?
I am planning to make a sculpture of a bicycle and write all the benefits of it. And I will make a car sculpture and write all the disadvantages on it.
That sounds quite ambitious – can you manage to do it?
I want to reduce bullying in Yr.6,Yr.5 Yr.7 and Yr.8 because i believe that there is a lot of bullying happening there and i want them to realise how much bullying.
I will achieve it by persuading people who get bullied to stand up for theirselves or if you see a person getting bullied you should use powerful language and make the bully stop.
I can make some posters by showing messagesand showing them the surveys.

The thing that I really want to achieve is me being my self and people can be themselves because when I try to trust my own idea sometimes I will forget and for others it’s because that if they don’t be themselves people won’t know the real them, the will have to pretend. I will achieve it by trying to be myself and tell some other people that are not being themselves the issue why you don’t be yourself is bad. I can show my work by asking others some questions first then tell how confident they are like how many percent they’re confident is (my mom suggest this.)
I can let them do some suveys too.

1. Do you think being yourself or trusting your idea is good? Why?
2. Do you think you’re able to be yourself? Why?
3. Do you hope people can be themselves? Why?
4. Do you hope you can be yourself? Why? (I can only ask this question if the audience is not being themselves.)
5.When you see other people’s ideas you lose your confident and do you copy them or you just keep goin on with your work? Why?
This is a good start. However, you will need to have much more specific questions if you’re going to calculate to see if people are themselves or not.
Yeah I agree with Mr. Sam. I also think it would be quite hard convincing yourself to not copy others. Today Prae told me something she believes it also is about being yourself “People who aren’t being themselves won’t have a unique style and would have a boring life” I think that asking questions is a really good idea. How will you calculate your percent? 🙂
Good question, Pin. How will you calculate the percentage? It is quite complicated you know, May?
I know it’s quite complicated and I have this idea about how many questions I have. For example: I have 5 questions and there’s 4 answers in each questions and each answer has a score there’s answer a b c d. Answer a is the most important like if you ask are you confident about your idea answer A could be All the time and B could be Most of the time, C could be sometimes and then D could be not at all and if your answer is answer A then you get 4 points and I have 5 questions so if every answer is 4 points then when I add it all together its 20. 20 = 100 and if I add it all together and it gets 10/20 then if I put it in 100% it’s 50/100.

I think that you still have to talk if you are going to make a poster i think that you can use another stratergy if possible.

2. By showing them the profable and prefable future paper(I was going todo it today but I forgot to do it, so I should reminde myself tommorrow.)

5. I think in the exhibition when i show the little kids they will be bored so mabye I can teach them to make clean water out of natural resorses, if I do that I can entertain little kids
I am planning to use Movie maker,the profable and the prefable grid, xtranormal and I will show them all my information I`ve gathered mabye I will use something else to.
You are planning to do too many things, and you won’t actually do any of them. Choose one way to share your work and then do it… properly.
Why don’t you do the most important thing first or because that is the thing that will make you suceed in Exhibition or do the important thing

Today I achieve writing down the questions that I’m going to ask people that come and look at my exhibition. I’m goin to show my exhibition by talking and I have to practice talking because I’m not really a confident person. The thing that I really want to achieve is me being myself and trying not to copy others. Pin said that I achieve it a bit because I did be myself but sometimes I forget. I planned how I’m going to say it. I’m planning to say some positive stories about people being themselves after that I’m going to ask questions. These are some of my questions:
1. Do you think being yourself or trusting your idea is good? Why?
2. Do you think you’re able to be yourself? Why?
3. Do you hope people can be themselves? Why?
4. Do you hope you can be yourself? Why? (I can only ask this question if the audience is not being themselves.)
5.When you see other people’s ideas you lose your confident and do you copy them or you just keep goin on with your work? Why?
I got some positive stories here it is:
– When you be yourself you do what your mind want to and if you succeed it makes you happy.
– When you be yourself you don’t have to pretend that the idea or something is yours you can just say it’s yours because you didn’t copy anyone.
– When you go to shopping mall and every time I will always like 2 shirts but my mom will say only one so I always choose the one I like better and if my mom said this shirt look nice but I don’t really like it I would say no and I can be happy cause I choose the shirt that I liked.

I think i am going to present my interviews by making a comic strip because i thought that it will be very diffrent.
Manisha I think you should stop chhanging your mind and settle on 1 thing becuase you won’t get enough time to do the thing the you are doing if you keep on changing your mind untill friday.
I agree Aayush because when Mr. Sam asked her what she wanted to achieve she said that she wanted to change the thinkings of the bullied people and then 20 minutes later she came to us and said she changed her mind. It’s okay if she keeps changing because I think it’s hard to know what you are focusing on even if you had time maybe because the thing you want to achieve has been already achieved 😎
This is good advice. People who keep changing their mind find it very difficult to achieve what they want to achieve.
Aayush has actually got a point there Manisha should stick her head on one thing until if not she will definetly fail the Exhibition. As May said today she acheived getting a question which is actually a big thing to me.
Sorry im typing this up a bit late but I went tomy classes and then there was a lot of traffic.
Today I acheived thinking of what I can present in my Exhibition which is sketching and I managed to draw 2 A3 sheets of paper with 2 cricketers and I got 3 secondary students intrested in my cricket club even before I put an ad on the secondary bulliten for coaches.
I changed my mind pretty much and now I am going to show everyone sketches of players who inspire me a lot and players who have stories behind them. I also thought of telling them about the past where cricket was played as an Extra curriculum for elementry, but then it discontinued because there were not enough people playing the sport, actually cricket is a very national sport and nist calls itself an international school so then why don’t people all over the world like,India,SouthAfrica,Englend,Australia,Westindies,Srilanka,Pakistan,Bangladesh,ireland,netherlends,kenya,NewZealend,etc play the sport in our school.
Then talk about the David Hick’s issues ideas and the rest would probably be the same asI have sais before.

I change my main now. Yeasterday I want to make a poster, but I think it exacly wasteing paper if nobody do it.
So I decide to take some real photo to make a picture book. And now doing it.
And I also think I can organize the new students to a club, and teach tem how to make a club, and it can make the lonely people not very lonely at lunch and break time. And I have beening sending a E-mail to the teacher I have beening talking to, an also add their idea to my picture book.
I love the picture book idea. It’s going to be very hard work – do you think you can do it?
