Journey Outwards: Part Two

February 28, 2011 10 comments

We are working towards out first PYP Exhibition “Spot-Check”. This is a time for parents and other people in the NIST community to come and share your thinking, see what you’re up to, ask you some questions, offer advice and maybe even make a permanent connection with you.

The focus for this spot-check is “Life at School”.

Here is the rubric for your PYP Exhibition. It is simple, clear and to-the-point. You can follow each step of the rubric and move forwards to be as successful as possible.

I think this happned in 1995. also I think in south Africa there was terrorist trying to get the UN supplisement and take overe the city. This movie is kind of rude and sad ( also heroic actions). I will put the video in each week.

I think people shoould think about why are these soldiers are in Africa? are they forced or doing it for jobs?

Our Relationship with Nature

February 24, 2011 2 comments

Today, we did Yoga and meditation and then thought about the questions above.

The reason for doing this was to see how happy you are with your relationship with nature. Do you feel happy about your relationship with nature? Are you unsatisfied with your relationship with nature? Do you feel connected with nature, or do you feel disconnected from nature?

What are the causes?

What are the effects?

What do you think about this idea? How might it cause a shift in thinking? How might it change the course of history in Bangkok? What might it look like? What ideas do you have for the “Skywalk”?
