The part I liked when the girls won because before Bradley was so naughty now he learned his lesson. But I don’t like when he has the black bruise on his eye and I also don’t like is when he lies. I chose this book because when I read the blurb I thought it will be wonderful to read and have a moral lesson. I like the author’s hand writing because it’s easy to read. When I’m reading “There’s a Boy in the Girls Bathroom” I really enjoyed it and when there is a word that I don’t know I look it up on the dictionary. The book that I’m reading is “There’s a Boy in the Girls Bathroom”.

I think you should say the title at the start. I was kind of confused when I started reading 🙂

What do you mean the authors handwriting?
Are the words printed from the computer or written?

I just started the book sixth grade secrets by Louis Sachar. I think the main characters till now are Tiffany, Laura, Allison. I would like to start a club in my house but I do not know what to do in it and I totally wouldn’t call it ‘Pig City’. I really like Lois Sachar’s style because he goes deep into the characters. I really am enjoying the book especially because of the author’s writing. I chose his book because I thought that next year I am going to grade 6, so maybe I should see how its like. I really am enjoying the story I wonder where Pig City actually is? I hope I find out.

I am reading ‘Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix’ this week. I will also be reading this for more weeks since this is quite a thick book and it will take a while to finish.

I chose to read this book because my sisters read the series and they told me how interesting it was. I also watched the movies and it was amazing. I saw the trailer for the 7th (final) movie and I decided that I would start reading Harry Potter before the movie came out.

The main character is obviously Harry Potter and the story has been set mostly in Hogwarts (Wizard school) and sometimes in different places, Example: London and Hogsmeade (Wizard place). I think this book is really interesting because there are more things going on at once and Harry’s life get’s complicated. I like how things happen when you don’t expect it so you get really suprised and you don’t put your book down.
The author of this book is J.K. Rowling. I like how she has a lot of Cliff hangers at the end of stories. Because of her Cliff hangers, I have been reading for almost 2 hours non-stop when I got home today.

I love this book. I don’t read very often in my free time but once I start reading I don’t usually stop. I highly reccommend the Harry Potter series to anyone, mostly to the people into fantasy and to the people who havn’t seen the movies.

I don’t read really really thinck books because i think that i’ll never finish them but since you have made this comment, I might try it out.
But Sam, what do you really mean by cliff-hangers?

I am reading the boy who lost his face this week. i think i will Finnish this book on monday. One of the main character is randy. The story is placed mostly in their school.I like the part when Randy and Alvin asked Mo if she was a boy or girl then they stared laughing then Randy said she neither then Randy said she a dog look she making a dog house for her self then Randy said watch out David i dont think she had her rabies shot then Mo said how will you like a hammer up you a..? i cant say the all word it is your bottom. The author of this book Louis Sachar i like the way at the being he tells you more details about the character the other author then book go really deep and it start to get very interesting so it makes you want to read more. I did not really enjoy the book for the first 5 pages but then i did.I chose this book because i saw Johan reading it and i know Louis Sachar writes very entertaining and i asked Johan if the book is good and he said yes.

I am reading a book called “Stanley Yelnats’ survival guide to Camp Green Lake” The main character is Stanley Yelnats, and this book is connected to a book called Holes. Stanley Yelnats is telling you how to behave well and survive at Camp Green Lake. He spent about a month or three months in Camp Green Lake. This story is set at Texas and the kids who commits crimes comes to Camp Green Lake and they spend their times digging holes five feet deep and five feet in diameter. I think Louis Sachar can be the best author on earth because he writes humourous, he knows what he’s writing. I think that there are too many things in his brain for him to write a story that he chooses some characters one by one. I am really enjoying this book because whenever I read this book, I know the story because I have already read the book holes and this book is connected to it. Also, this book tells you what to do when you are in Camp Green Lake. Like no screaming in Camp Green Lake and you are only allowed to be in the shower for 4 minutes. I think that’s pretty fair for me and pretty unfair for the girls in our class or in our school. Because when I am taking a shower. I just can’t take a shower for 10 minutes because my body doesn’t like taking shower for ages and I see pretty lot of girls who takes showers for about more than 10 minutes. But now it is fair because the book said that they have closed the Camp Green Lake and they are setting a Girl Scout and now it is pretty fair for the girls. This is why the reason I have chose this book. It tells you what to do in Camp Green Lake( though it is closed) it gives you 3 or 4 tests to test your survival skills and it gives you survival skills. One of the parts that I really enjoyed was when I read a test and here’s a question, (What happens when a rattlesnake is coiled around your foot?) There were some answers like shaking it off, but sometimes I don’t think that will work because than the snake might chase you and the snake might catch up with you and it might bite you so you have to be be careful with that.

I havent read HOLES but i have watched the movie and it is the BEST movie i’ve ever watched! It’s a great movie and I didnt want to leave the room when it was on.
It has a really deep message and it just shows how much freinds care for each other.

I am reading a book called small steps by Louis Sachar. It is the sequel of the book called holes and I know that because in the beginning two of the main characters meet up again and they have the same names and nicknames from the book holes. The two main characters names are x ray and armpit. This book is a bit rude because 2 people do the middle finger and it is also violent because near the end one of a singers manager/stepfather tries to kill the singer but it is still very good. I am enjoying the book because it is very exciting and I always want to read the next chapter.
I like the authors writing style because it is very good and it keeps the story flowing. the book is about when x ray and armpit try to illegally sell some tickets from a singers concert and then everything gets mixed up. The story is very good but I wished some other characters from the other book were in this book,

I am reading the book called ‘the boy who lost his face’ I really like this book because it is funny and it is quiet intresting. I like how Louis sanchar writes this book I think that he might have a lot of humor and he can tell some really funny jokes. The main charceter in this book is probably david who was bff with a guy called scott but he wanted to be with 2 guys who are really lazy and notie. Its quiet funny how david thought that his mom didnt know what the middle finger meant so he showed it to her and guess what ……………….. she knew what it meant. I chose this book because paul told me that Louis sanchar was a really good author and then when Mr sam started reading There is a boy in the girls bathroom ( another book by Louis Sanchar) I found it really good and entertaining so that why I chose this book.

I think the boy who lost is face is pretty rude because they say words like dips–t and they talk allot about flipping people off. Which is doing the middle finger!

I am reading “The boy who lost his face” by Louis Sachar
the main character in the book is David a kid that got a curse put on him by a old lady when they went to steal her cane David did not want to, But to be cool he did. He is not confident of himself he thinks he is a nerd and his best friend Scott, is best friends with the bad kids in school. the story is set mostly in the school that they all go to but some of it is at David’s house. There are some other small places like Scot’s house or the old lady’s house. one of my favorite parts so far was when he gave his mom the middle finger because it was very exiting when she found out and yelled at him i got a little scared reading it. Lois Sachar writes in kind of a way that you can really relate to a way that is easy to read but also amazingly exiting and addicting.
i am really loving the book at the beginning it was just OK but now it has so much in it. the main reason i choose that book was because are the author Louis Sachar i have read many of his books and loved them all.
i really recommend this book to you guys that have not read it it is really really good, SO FAR!

The book I’m reading this week i sa book by Geronimo Stilton and its called The Phantom of the Subway. The reason I chose this book is because many people have read it and all of them said that it was really fun so then I wanted to have a try. I also chose this book because I’ve read many other books from this author. The main characters are Geronimo, his sister Thea, his cousin Trap, his offics assistant Pinky and his nephew Benjamin. Geronimo is a bookworm and likes his cozy, warm house, and hates everything that includes heights, the dark, any dangerous thing and anything else that includes adventure or goosebumps! So far, I think that I liked the part when Thea was describing about the mystery cat because she spoke it so spookily and I also enjoy the book too. This story setting actually moves around where the characters are and mostly its in the sewer pipe and the subway stations.

I am currentlly reading the lightning theif by Rick Riordan and it is so far so good. The main characters are Percy Jackson, Grover and Anabeth but the main character is Percy. He is declared as the Lightning Theif but it isn’t true…someone else is the Lightning theif so percy and his friends now have to go figure out the mystery. The story is set in different places but as I’ve read so far the main setting is at Half-Blood camp. I liked the part when Percy killed the “Minotaur” because it tells the readers that Percy is brave and strong and that part made me feel that i was really with Percy because the authour decribed that part really deeply. I’m not sure about Rick’s writing style but he has a lot of ideas in his mind as i can see and he uses very discriptive words. I am enjoying the book a lot and I hope people that haven’t read it yet will enjoy it too. 😀

The book I am reading at the moment is “6th grade Secrets”.
I chose this book because I thought this book would be interesting since we’re soon sixth grade and I like reading about kids that are my age.
I really liked reading the letter that Laura wrote about how she had a crush on her Teacher. I liked this bit because I can’t imagine what it would be like and that is why it attracted and engrossed me so much.
I think that the main characters so far is Laura I like this character because she is very outgoing like me as well as that she is cheeky.
The story setting so far is Laura’s house and the school. I like the hut that Laura’s dad and brother build in her backyard if I had a hut like that in my backyard it would be one of my favorite places.
I think it is extremely appealing how Laura never tells a lie in order for her hair not to be cut but to be grown.
I really like the way Louis Sachar he is very descriptive, characteristic, clear and definite. When Louis Sachar describes Characters he brings out a lot of info but he also leaves some things for his reader to automatically figure out in the story I think this is very important because if he doesn’t inform then readers won’t know what is going on but if he tells them every little detail then it is gonna get boring for the reader and it might ruin some bits of the story.
I wonder if Louis Sachar keeps his audience in mind when he’s writing or if he just writes and in the end look at the outcome.
I am enjoying this book so far and I can’t wait to pick it up again because the first problem of the story has started.

I was reading a book called Scorpia which was the 5th book in the Alex Rider series which was written by Anthony Horowitz. I chose this serie because I saw the movie Storm breaker and I always knew that the book was better than the movie do so I chose to read Storm breaker. I really liked it so I just continued the serie until now. Now I have finished Scorpia and I am now reading the one after which is called Ark Angel. My favorite part of Scorpia was when Alex Rider found out about who his father really was and how he really got killed. My favorite character is Alex Rider because as you may know he is the main character but also because he happens to be doing the coolest stuff. I also like this book because It has lots of different settings. The best part about the settings is that you can actually even learn a bit about the place. I totally recommend the Alex Rider serie for people who like action, adventure and mystery.

I am also reading the book “Dogs don’t tell jokes” I have just started it but I guess that it’s a fun book because the main character Gary Woone is called Boon by other kids in the class and he tends to be called Boon. If I was him, I would snap to the kids not to call me Boon. Also, he was picked as a class clown.

I am reading a book called There’s a boy in the girl’s bathroom by Louis Sachar. I am engrossed in the book and really enjoying it. I am reading this book because when Mr. Sam read the first few pages to us I really enjoyed it. I was impatient and decided to read the book before Mr Sam continued it. I am reading it at my own pace.
I really like Louis Sachar’s style because he deeply desribes the characters. As the story is unfolding I am discovering different facets of each character. So my favourite character keeps on changing. I agree with Shikhar about this.
I would highly recommend this book for all students. Even though I usually like reading non-fiction books especiaaly about sports, this book has interested me a lot.

I finished my book 2 minutes ago.
I think this is a really good book for everyone. I think that in the wars that the two secret clubs were having there was some very very cruel things that kids were doing to each other. I think this story is very touching. The funny thing was that you feel like you hate a kid in one bit but in the other bit you feel sorry for a kid. I’ve never felt like this in a book before that I feel sorry and hateful for kids in different parts of the book, Usually I feel the same way about kids in a book.
I would really recommend this book to everyone even for kids whom are learning english but also to advanced english speaking kids.

the main characters are horrid henrr, pefect peter, mom and dad.

Horrid Henry is very Naugty sohe is always playing triks, with his parents he made a deal that if he ate vegetables every day of the week he can go to gobble and go (a restuarant he loves)
when he Eats his vegetables he does things like pretend it’s a fly or put them on his brothers plate, or hide them in the drawer underneath the table.
the authors writing style is funnyy and also with action words like “babbled mom”

well I was reading a book called mermaid apprentices. One of my teacher has been asking to read with me, and she said continue reading the book you are reading and I’ll buy the book that we are going to read together. I can’t remember the name of the main charactor, but the story took place in a scary amusement park called Horror Land. The book I am reading is ‘Goosebum One Day in Horror Land’. I think the author style is horror and big twist. I enjoy the book because it keeps my interest of what will happen next. I choose this book because when I was in Hungary in 2008, mom and I read my first Goosebum Book, ‘Haunted Mask’ and we really enjoyed it so I want to read more of Goosebum Books by R.L. Stine.

The book that I am reading is called “The Red Pyramid” . The main characters are called Sadie and Carter. The story is set in many places cause, Sadie is a magician and so they two can go through portals, like from England to the U.S.A. Where ever they travel the Egyptian god called Bast or another magician helps them to bet there mission. Well there was no part I liked but I found it cool when there dad was rapped like a mummy and was put in a coffin by magic, and then when A guy called Set stomped the floor the coffin went underground. I like the authors writing style because the font was clear and it made a lot of sense to me. I am enjoying this book a lot cause it is an adventurous book. I chose this book because I like the title ‘The Red Pyramid” and then I red the first few pages and I liked it.
