Sundials

Another way to tell the time without zero is a sundial clock. This clock shows the time by the shadows. for how long do you think sundials have been in use? Have a guess or try to find out.

Have a look at this link if you want to find out more about how sundial clocks work.

I think sundial clocks work by the sun. in the middle there is a stick or a piece of metal and as the sun moves a shadow tells the time

if you had a sun dial around your waist the shadow would tell the correct time

Yeah I agrre with you paul but I think it might be all little hard for us to tell the time if we looked at a sun dial

i think the clock has been around for 1100 years. i think we would not have the clocks or calendar or barcode because o is in the time and the barcode but we could have the rest

i know why they named it sundial because it works from the sunlight so they named it sun-dial.

I agree with michael because it works on the sun only.
