The Proudest moment for me is that i scored a goal when it was in the air when playing soccer team. Something that I was nervous about was that I thought I would have a cramp when I was doing distance running. A great behavior I saw today was from another class in Year 6, they were waiting patiently when we were playing bench ball and that also cheered other classes too. My biggest achievement in Sports day is that I have ran 900 meters non stop and it was really tiring for me. I got a good advice from my friend when I was running in Hurdles.

I am very proud of many things, for example in soccer (a sport I never play and never knew how to play) I blocked the goal and also for long jump, I had 4 points and I was very happy with it. I was kind of nervous for the long distance run because at the time, I was very tired from sprints and long jump. I was scared I won’t complete the 3 laps I had to do and I managed only 2 rounds. With 1 round left, I did the relay instead. A also saw a very great behavior going on. It was that when I was playing the rest of the yellow team and also other teams came and cheered for us which is very good because with people supporting you, it makes you want to do it even more/ it will make you want to win even more. I really liked when we were in the MPH doing bench ball because the yellow team was doing very well, they were cooperating with each other and I also sometimes here “it’s ok, nice try though” when people try and score a goal. I think that the time I showed a lot of sportsmanship is when we were doing soccer because I never played it and I really want to achieve it, and at the very end I actually felt like I have achieved playing soccer because I tried my best to block the goals and when I do so, people were cheering for me, they were giving me courage. We also overcame a problem because on the last match of soccer, someone and I were substitutes and someone (I don’t want to say names) said to wait until we scored a goal so I waited. The thing didn’t affect me but the other person who was substitute. The game finished early and we substitutes didn’t get to play and the other person really wanted to play because normally that person doesn’t have the chance to do anything much so she was very upset. I think that yellow team has quite a lot of valuable members such as Ranvir who is good at soccer and Johann who played very well in Bench ball, Saeri who ran very fast, Ping Ping who also played well in Bench ball, Ness who was good at defending in Soccer and last, Amy who never gave up. There were times when we lost matches but we dealed with it very easily because that match of Bench ball where we lost 6AR, I said” it’s alright, the important thing about sports day is us having fun so why would you be mad and plus we still have other teams on other courts that will win”. Also on the Bench ball match, it was the match that we won very gracefully because nearly all of us had a shot and also the score was very close to each other so I thought that it was a great game and we also won. I was watching the other courts for soccer and I thought that team 2 had very good team work because they were communicating and working together to get nearest to the goal. I thought that everybody today was a good leader because everybody was good at different sports and also played very well. The people who was good at … sport really showed that they knew what they were doing and also knew the techniques we should use to win the other teams because they have more experience than the rest who don’t play the sport at all or play very less.

The proudest moments for me was when I scored 2 goals because at my Footbal we have good strikers so I hardly score ( also my positions are goalkeeper, defender and midfield), when we beat 6CB and beat the team to beat and were undefeated in the whole football group.
I was nervous about the running because on saturday at a Footbal tournament someone kicked my leg really hard. After running my leg throbed but at the start at the next race my legs didn’t hurt at all.
Well, Mr. Chris said my behavior was good because in benchbal when the other team scored I clapped for good play and he said I have good sportmanship.
I think the most imressive performance I saw was in benchbal. 6AR had great team play, marked well and Bek in defence ( Bek was a great defender but Cael was better) we lost 2-0. Also 6AR let the girls have chances to have shots and the 2 most amazing girls in benchbal were Maya and Meredith, they played unbelievably well.
The best sportsmanship was what I did when the other team scored (as I mentioned earlier).
My biggest achievment was the same as my proudest moments.
In benchbal (no offence) me because one game I intercepted a fast pass and threw the ball to our catcher and gave us a 2-1 lead (the match ended 4-1 to us).
In soccer (no offencce) I think the girls because they played hard and never lost focus but everyone was a valuable player but the girls played great.
In dealing well when we lost we were good because we thought “It is just for fun” and “we have also one 1-2 matches” (at least that is what I thought).
I don’t know what you mean with “Winning with style and grace”.
I think our girls had great teamplay because some did that they pass with the back of the leg. I think I did good teamplay because I lobbed balls over peopleso our team could shoot and I did some good through balls (I also did passes in the middle of two people and then we could shoot).

I saw you play soccer and I think your quite good at it. Keep going!

I was proud of myself because I never lost a race in hurdles. I won every race I competed in and I came second in 900m running, second once in sprints and second in javelin. I injured my ankle during sprints but I fought on. I thought that I wouldnt be able to compete in the other athletics event. I saw impressive behaviour from the whole class when they were cheering on the 2-0 benchball win over 6AR. I thought that that was the greatest moment too 😐 I blocked out 2 balls in a row and all were cheering. I showed good sportsmanship when our team lost 2-0 to 6LC. None of us wailed or complained to the ref. so as a captain of the team, I was impressed. We never lost hope in the game between 6DH and our class in benchball. Our team was losing 2-0 but we fought back with my defense and Ping Ping’s attack. I was substituted after my save but we put on a great fight to draw atleast. For ‘Most valuable member’, I would obviously choose myself but besides me, I would say that Ping Ping was a good attacker in soccer and a good defender in benchball when I was subbed out by Samantha. Our team shook hands with a smile. 6SS, 6LC and 6DH were tied in first place for soccer and 6SS came first in benchball. We were never sulking. The great teamwork was from us in benchball. We kept the momentum all the time.

MY FINAL VERDICT FOR MOST VALUABLE PLAYER BESIDES ME IS PING PING.

I am also really proud of myself because I don’t usually play soccer/ football and today I also scored a goal so I am really proud of myself, but I am not only proud of myself because of soccer I am also proud that I could run around the field 3 times (900 m), actually I am proud at myself for everything I did today at sports day because I thought that I wouldn’t survive some of the activities. I was really nervous about running around the field 3 times, playing soccer/ football, and doing the sprints because I thought I would be really tired when I had to do the sprints but on all of them I came second and first place so that went really well.

I agree with Sujinna about we cheering for our classmates, like when my team were out and waiting for our turn our team were cheering really much, I was cheering so much that my throat started to hurt but I didn’t stop. Sometimes in bench ball our team lost but I didn’t mind I was just saying to myself that I tried my best and there is no harm in losing.

My biggest achievement in sports day was playing soccer, trying my best for all the activities (although I was really tired and sweaty), and scoring a goal in soccer because I am not good at soccer and I don’t play it at all. I think the teams I was in for athletics and the games were really good ,I think we worked really well and also for example if I did something wrong they wouldn’t mind and they would just say good try.

Yeah, nice job today Sasha, I saw you really tried to win every game even in soccer which is your weakness ( I think). And also Sasha I am proud of you that you made 3 times around the field because I only managed 2 😉

One of the proudest moments was when I scored a goal on benchball because I saved the team from losing with that goal. I was a little bit nervous about all the running which includes hurdles, sprints and long distance running. When of my biggest achivements is that when I was the goal keeper in soccer nobody in the team our team was playing against scored. The best advices I got were from Mr.Sam. The great teamwork I saw came from our team because at the first round of soccer we were playing we lost 3-0. On the other rounds we made a plan before playing so we didn’t lose. A really good performance I saw came from Ranvir because when we were playing benchball he defended really well and didn’t let his opponent’s team score by when the were trying to score he would hit the ball high in the air. Cael was also a really good leady by making our team score and win in soccer many times.

I think that my proudest moment was when I played soccer because I didn’t just stand around and do nothing but instead I went to play soccer and tried my best. I was nervous about making the team I was in lose because it might have been my fault. My biggest achievement was not giving up and trying my hardest in everything. One of the problems I had was that I got a cramp while I was running so it was hard for me to run but on my other rounds I tried to ignore the cramp and I did. I don’t think Yellow Team had a “Most Valuable Member” because we all tried our hardest and we have different strengths and weaknesses in sports.

Hi sam, I don’t think you need to be nervous for loosing, its just a game

My proudest moment was when I ended up scoring 2 goals in bench ball because normally I never get a chance too. But this time I took a risk and it has made me really proud of myself. I am also very proud that I saved a goal kicked by Kabir. Well it wasn’t really me I got scared and accidently closed my eyes but luckily I left my hand out and I ended up saving a goal. That was such a fluke. I was very proud at Arne and Luca because in each game we played they would always pass to me or other girls not just boys. Very often boys intend not to pass to girls because there scared they’ll loose but when I was scared that we would loose they would always tell me its ok and they will help and I am very proud of them for that. Also when the yellow team were loosing I decided to show them support so I invited some of the other girls to join me, we all had fun shouting and giving support to our class. When our team lost I was a bit disappointed but I got over it and at least one of the teams could have there special moment. When my team was about to do long jump Mr. Sam gave us some tips and also ones for others. They really helped my team learn more. IN our team we didn’t exactly have a leader because if someone was a leader it wouldn’t be fare so we all had a chance to talk and share our ideas. I really enjoyed sports day.
P.S This is the last elementary sports day we are going to have!!!!

I really had a wonderful time playing sports and working as a team (in some of the games.) I know that some people didn’t want to participate in this but I think it was really fun, also to be a class which the color is yellow! I am most proud of my javelin skills and my long distance skills. For the javelin I never knew I could throw the javelin that far, it was a great accomplishment. For the long distance running, I kept the same pace, which I could actually do instead of losing all my energy at first, I reached second in that which I was really proud of because some people didn’t really get through whole 3 rounds. At first I was nervous about doing the hurdles because I think I’m not really good at it, but when I did it I actually had a lot of fun competing with others. I think that our class gave a lot of support to each other which made us have even more fun! I think that everyone has a different strength in this sports day which made us achieve first place or even not. I think that everyone did a good thing at sports day to participate in some activity. I am so happy that we just had fun instead of caring about who’s first and who’s last. I really like the way we all were valuable in some way or another. I think that we had lots of fun being in teams but, what I really liked doing was actually EVERYTHING! 6SS did really good in achieving things they never even knew they could have done.

To me the sports day was really extra fun. Before the sports day I was really nervous because I hade muscle eke and I couldn’t really run fast but I didn’t want to loose. There was many things to play. And I liked all the games we played. I saw a really good team work… I don’t remember which group it was but they worked really good and I think they won on one of the games we played. I deal by loosing by thinking in my head “will I win if I cry or get bossy or do something?… will anything good happen??” I was really proud of myself on the long distance running because I was thinking that I will stop walking or running because I get tired so fast but guess what!! I didn’t have to stop!! When I finished running the long distance I was almost the last one but still I was really proud of my self.
    😛 :O 😀 😉 🙂

My Proudest moment was when I won all my hurdle races. I was most nervous when I was about to do the hurdle races because I thought I would loose. I don’t know the greatest behavior I saw. Mine winning all my hurdle races. LOL. I showed good sport men ship when we lost to 6CB in football. Winning all my hurdle races. I did not over come any of my problems. Yellow teams valuable member was the class because all of us make a great team. When We Lost I said to myself it is just a game but they did play well. I am not very sure what losing in a style of grace is but i think we did it well. When we all playing Bench Ball we all passed to each other and had a good time. I really didn’t get good advice from someone.

    Johann 🙂 ^_^ :0 😀 😛

I enjoyed sports day, because I came first at the hurdles. I think my proudest moment that when I played bench ball I could catched the ball and I passed it to my team meat, so I was very happy. And I think we are (my team) were good teamwork, because we could told earch other and we could to makeso many goals. I was before the doing the long jump is starting I was nervous, because I am not good at it, but at the end my point was not bad, so I wasn’t sad but I wasn’t happy.\(^v^)/ (-O-)

My proudest moments were when I came first in all my races, when I beat the reccored for the throws and when I was super defender in benchball. I was quite nervous at the start for every thing but then I wasn’t but I was really nervous for the distance running because I normally suck. I think I saw great behaver from Sujina and Miki because when we were playing football they didn’t play much but they had good behaver because they didn’t get mad. I think I saw good performance from Alfie in the sprints. Like Luca i sometimes would clap for other teams when they scored. I think my biggest achivement was probably winning all my races for sprints. In my team I think they were all valuble players.
    Cael

It was sport day today and we were all ready to win or loose. We already been placed into groups and so we all tried our best to win for the team.

I was very nervous when I had to play soccer because if I didn’t kick the ball to the right person in my team we could have lost. Next I participate in Athletics. It was the proudest moment for me because I came first when I sprinted and that was a big achievement for me because my energy levels had increase. We all behave ourselves so in order to avoid injuries. The bench ball game was the most impressive for me to watch as I liked the way they defended to get the ball. It was quit a tough job for the players. Which I feel if you are focus on a game you will surely win. In my groups I felt there were miner arguments but we were also united that we somehow solve and overcome the arguments. Johann and Cael had good strategies in leading the as a risk taker.

I felt that win or loose is not as important as trying to work as a team. 🙂

    Your proudest moment
    Something you were nervous about
    Great behaviour you saw
The most impressive performance you saw
A time when you showed good sportsmanship
    Your biggest achievement
    Overcoming a problem
    Yellow Team’s “Most Valuable Member”
    Dealing well with losing
    Winning with style and grace
    Great teamwork you saw

Sports day was very tiring and a great experience. I will always say to myself, your here to have fun and ejoy this moment. There were times when I wanted to stop and give up, especially running sprints and distance. I had a hard time to breathe.

My proudest moment was when I was playing soccer because I have no idea how to play it and also doing the hurdles and long jump. Also javeline because I threw the futhest in the whole team 3s in year 6. I was very nervous about every start of every game because I don’t know what’s going to happen. Everybody in the class was cherring each other, it makes the class happy and joyfull. Mick was really really good in everything. I never ever saw Mick soo good and also Taku. But I saw everybody try their best 🙂 The toughest problem was in soccer after we lost 6cb, we didnt plan but we just played. In the next game, we planned before and we improved alot 🙂 At the end, we had a short amont of time to play it was just 2 minutes and that’s why we counldnt change the subsitute people to let everybody play.
Everybod’s a winner, everybody’s valuable. We are all valuable cause we are a team.

    Hi Kids,

I think you all did a great job, but I was sorry I couldn’t come to sports day. I hope and think you all would have good teamwork and good sportsmanship even if its against the other class. Sujinna has told me about sports day and from what Sujinna said, I think that it was a very fun and tiring day. I also hope that everybody got to play everything because Sujinna also told me that some people didn’t really get the chance to play that much. Great job 6SS!

My proudest moment was when I came 3rd in distance. I was nouvous about the entire sports day. When we lost soccer I just took it, I know we can’t win all the time. When we won benchball I loved it I think I did it with style not too sure about grace. The most impresive thing I saw was Mia winning distance, I was amazed by that!

There was loads of anticipation in the events in Sports Carnival Day that made it seem as if it were heaven coming. There are many things that made me proud together with loads of team spirit. My personal thought about my proudest moment is having teamwork and passing the ball both in benchball and soccer and together, it resulted without any team problems. I was quite nervous when I was doing the long jump event since when I was practicing in P.E., I was making jumps that are both long and short in length and I also fell on my butt and that hurt since I landed on the wrong moment of time. I was totally impressed by the enormous team spirit in the games because we were passing the ball around and we scored the goal with one strategy: Pass. I showed helpful sportsmanship by shaking hands with the people when we win or have a draw. And about my biggest achievement is when I face a sport that isn’t my strength, I try to do my best and make the most out of it by actually trying very hard to sports like track and field and soccer. My team didn’t have problems at all because we had great teamwork. In my opinion, my games and track and field team were all valuable members of 6ss and as you know, everyone each has a strength and weakness. We pretty much accepted defeat when we lose but we never give up and we cheered whenever we win. I my opinion, everyone in Sports Carnival Day was a leader to me.

My proudest moment was winning the benchball for most of the class and Iwas also proud of our teamwork we planed who’s in the charge of diffrent thing and I became 1 in sprint. I was nervose about bitting 6dh because they was the best one in the benchball. I saw graet behavior from Ranvir and Ping Ping because they organized the team very well and be thoughtful like makeing someone last when they don’t have any energy and make them a sob.A time when I showed good sportsmanship was when I catch the ball in bench ball and last second we bitted the class we vers with.My biggest achievement is cathed that ball in last second. my Overcoming a problem is I sort of twistted my angcle so it will be hurting for cuple of days.“Most Valuable Member in yellow was Iam not really sure!(hard to diecide)
Great teamwork I saw was passing all the balls to echather and do comunatication with body langugue.agree with pingping everyone in Sports Carnival Day was a leader to me.

I am really happy that you enjoyed Sports day. It is fantastic to hear of the great spirit you showed as a class and in your teams. The fact that some of you mentioned that you were risk takers is pleasing too. Although you may have been scared at some points through the day you faced those fears and succeeded. Well done 6SS, I am proud of the way you behaved yesterday to try and get the most fun out of Sports Day whilst competing against others and supporting each other.
