Room Essential Agreements

Each room group got together and developed some essential agreements to govern how they behave during the Kanchanaburi trip. They started the conversation about their agreements by making comments on a previous posting. In class, we discussed the use of positive language and how much better an essential agreement is if it uses a positive instruction – tells you what to do and not what not to do! A good example is:

“Respect each other’s property” instead of “Don’t touch other people’s stuff”.
