Teachers need to learn new skills and information all the time so that they can be better at their job. Today, Mr. Will taught us how to set up and manage our class blogs so that we can use them in class and so that our students can access them at home. It is possible to do all sorts of very cool things using a blog… just wait and see! Have any of you ever used blogs before? Make a comment with your answer.
The students have collaborated in order to decide on five “essential agreements” that will govern behaviour this year. The aim of essential agreements is for all students to have a happy and successful day at school every day.
Here are the 6S agreements:
- “Treat people the way you want to be treated, with respect.”
- “Know when to have fun and when to be serious, for the people around you will be affected.”
- “Be organized.”
- “Become open-minded, use your creativity and share ideas.”
- “Everybody makes mistakes and we develop as we learn from them.”
We will be referring to and discusing the agreements on a regular basis so that they become a real part of our lives.
