Homework: Gratefulness

Hi,

I doing my exhibition project on gratefulness. We have so much but we grumble and complain about the little things we don’t have. The goal of my project is to encourage 6SS to be more grateful. I would like you to think about what you are grateful for.

For homework today can you please take one or more photos of things you are grateful for. Then e-mail the photos to me ( Caitie ), put them put on Flickr or print them out. I’m going to make a collage of the photos.

SongKran holiday

Hi guys,

This holiday I went to Korea. I had lots of fun because we went to cool places with my family. We went to Nam-San tower where I went on the cable car to see the view on the top of the mountain Nam-San tower was famous for romance because the view is so beautiful. We went to Ever-land(Theme Park) Ever-land is famous for the breathtaking ride called T express the T express was really steep so I didn’t go on it but my sister and brother went on it and they said it was awesome! I didn’t regret myself about the T express cause it was scary. The other rides were good we spend the whole day at Ever-land. And also we went to a university to see the cafe called coffee prince it was famous because a Korean series was filmed there and there were yummy drinks there. There’s more places that I went but these ones was what I like best. I WISH YOU GUYS WILL HAVE A NICE HOLIDAY HAPPY SONGKRAN!

I made a little article about the family I saw today when I went outside today and it really touched my heart to see this woman having to go through all of what she has gone through and I wanted to share this with the whole class, because I know that some people might not be aware of the other side of the world-the one full of sorrow and tears.

You guys really nailed it, and your parents were an outstanding audience and brought so much knowledge and so many new perspectives and ideas into the Exhibition process. I am so glad that I had my Nikon camera with me today because I think it has helped me capture the atmosphere in the room this afternoon.
