Homework: Glad to be a…

May 29, 2012 Leave a comment

There are good things and bad things about being either a boy or a girl. Using Caitie’s gratefulness theme, think of the reasons why you are glad you are or a boy, or glad you are a girl.

Create an attractive TOP TEN REASONS I’M GLAD I’M A…. visual that will go on display in the classroom. Try to keep it serious and sensible as many of the things you might be thinking about could be sensitive for people who are the opposite gender.

Hi,
I found some photos of a really cool plane. It is a Kulula airline b737, painted in the Flying 101 livery. It is a really creative design for people who don’t know so much about flying.

Boeing 777

Hi,

I found some videos on one of my favorite websites about aviation. The poster embedded the videos from YouTube.

The first is a short video about building B777 in 30 secs, but that is not how they really build it. It is creative, though.

My Inspiration

I want to share some videos that are inspiring to me. I particularly like the one titled ‘Inspiration to Innovation’. The videos are about Boeing, which is my favorite jetliner manufacturer. I like Boeing because I think they provide more comfort than Airbus, Mcdonell Douglas, Bombardier etc. They also trust the pilot more instead of having the machine do all the work, which Airbus does. However, both have had accidents. The latest Boeing jetliner, the 787, which first flew with ANA(All Nippon Airways) uses Biofuel and strong composite materials for the fuselage.

Hi parents. We’re here! Despite some traffic this morning, we got here by 11am and are all off doing our activities on this glorious afternoon. We made our own sandwiches after checking into our rooms with much excitement!

Keep checking the blog for more updates.
