Who’s ideas and actions have inspired us this year?

We have been influenced and inspired by lots of different people this year. Let’s make a list of those people so we can can more about them. So, think about all of the following types of people and make a comment to tell us their names and how they have had an effect on us.

As you know, it was great to get the Y12 students into our classroom. I think they enjoyed it just as much as you!

We were very lucky that Ping-Ko, Gordon, Bim and Beaux were able to come and talk to us about their direct experiences of the flooding in Thailand. They shared photos and videos of the places they had been and they told us stories of what they had seen. They also gave us their perspectives on what is going on and some information about how and why the situation has become so bad.

After our two guest speakers today, we had an amazing conversation about what they had said to us. The subject of “time management” came up and we ended up drawing this amazing diagram of the different ways that people work:
