    Hi 6SS,

What inspired me to be a football player was when I was little there was a talented football player with the same name of mine “Gianfranco Zola” and that made me feel good because when you know there is a talented football player with same name as you it is pretty cool. It makes you feel like you have a chance of being one to.

An inspiring moment was when I went to a stadium to watch my home country play. What made more inspiring was that they won. It was inspiring because they played really well and it made me want to be a football player even more.

At the moment graphite is inspiring me because it is a unique way to express yourself. All the work they do is all original they don’t copy anybody. What inspires me the most is that they express themselves through art instead of talking to someone and expressing themselves through words.

I am really pleased that you’re interested in Graffitti, I am also fascinated by it and so is Mr. Aaron. He told me today that he plans to get you guys learning how to do it and trying it out around school – if he can trust you all to be responsible and to control yourselves with such a messy form of art. I wonder if he’ll be able to?

Oh, by the way, this is my favourite Gianfranco Zola goal: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Z4DAaQe7Q4 You can see what a great guy he is because he picks a fan up off the floor and hugs him, so he is inspirational in many ways.

I was actually working for Norwich City Football Club at the time!

What inspires me is flowers and lots of experiments that can be done on them such as you can put flowers in water and for example red food colering and then the flower turns that coler also another reason that flowers have differrent kinds and each kind is iteresting so flowers inspire me to do lot’s of experiments and I am doing one right now also which is I found a plant that it’s seeds stick to your clothing so I thought that if I sprayed honey on the plant flys might come and get stuck. Monet the artist also inspired me by his big garden and the way he and his friends thought differently than other people and that changed the way people see and thought. Also what has inspired me lately is taking good pictures and editing them because first of all editing pictures can make the pictures look more realistic and make them look like a piece of art.

    Pat :) :>

I love this comment Pat because I can really feel your honesty and the real inspiration you get from nature. I am happy to help you set up some experiments at school and to look at other ways to express your interest in flowers. Perhaps photography would be a great way to start?

What inspires me to be a make up artist? Well, there is this girl on youtube called Michelle Phan, i dont know if any of you heard of her but she is AMAZING at make up. She inspires me because she teaches everyone around the world how to do makeup. including me. This is one of my favourite quotes she said in one of her videos, ‘I love makeup and i think it looks good on everyone’ If you guys want to see why she inspires me Check Out This! This is my favourite video. —

I have lots of things and people that inspire me, but i have a question.. are you aloud to talk about people in your family that inspire you? Anyway if its yes, then my sisters (Emma&Olivia) inspire me to play football (soccer) because when Olivia was little she started to play football and so, Emma came along and started to get inspired by Olivia playing football and I came along and now I’m inspired by both of them.
Also my dad helps me because, For Example there is a BISAC tournament on Saturday, he made some plans on Friday and morning Saturday to train me before the BISAC tournament.

Many people say that they have a bad voice when they sing but, mostly everybody in the world can sing, including me :D. Inspiration- Singing. Who – Famous singers, pop stars, actors. Why – Because, i believe that everybody has an amazing voice, and everybody can sing and share their talent with anybody. This story is true – On youtube, one day i searched up songs and the searched bar poped up with something saying, How To Sing. And im like “What? Wha.. Wha.. Why is this here, everybody knows how to sing and, i bet that the person who made that video cant even sing because he/she is very stupid for making that video.”

At the moment what inspires me is Football (Soccer) because the big game is coming up and since my dad is helping me, I think i will be excellent because of his amazing help for big tournaments

I am so impressed by how many girls are playing football these days, the school should be very proud – I am!

I chose Makeover Artists as my true inspiration because, I want to become a makeover artist when i grow up, and since that, i will remember that inspiration for my whole life. The way i will express that is to.. make some makeover tutorials, take some photos and maybe go around places that where people need to have makeovers, and get paid. I’ll put the videos and photos on the blog just to see how well they are and probably put it on youtube, after.

What inspired me to start to doing horse riding is this girl that lives in Belgium, her name is Pauline. I started looking at her doing horse riding competitions, so i got the idea to try it. I used to only ride in Belgium, but now I’ve gone further and started riding in Thailand. I’m very happy that I’ve discovered my passion, and I want to thank Pauline for inspiring me to start horse riding.

An inspiring moment was when I walked and visited the great wall of China. It was an inspiring moment because I always wanted to walk and visit the great wall. So i did walk on the great wall, and I was so happy and excited for the moment to come. I really enjoyed the great wall even though there was soooo many steps to go up and it was a looong way. It also made me very happy when I saw Caitie.

At the moment making creative drawings are inspiring me because it’s a great way to express yourself and for people to know who you are and what do you like doing. It’s slowly starting to take over talking a lot and doing stuff that are not necessary. If i was told to express myself in word or drawing, I would definitively choose drawing what I feel or my feeling of myself or somebody else.
    :D

    • Mr. Sam
      January 31, 2012 at 8:39 pm

Do you know Pauline or is she someone famous? Have you told her that she inspired you? It is great to find something like horse riding and to really get into it when you are young. Not many things give you such a direct connection to nature as sitting on the back of a big, strong animal and working together like a team. Amazing.

I was also inspired by the Great Wall, although I did keep wondering why on earth they went to all that trouble!!!

I love your art, you have a real talent and I am hoping to see you express yourself that way A LOT more before the end of the year.

I chose horse riding as my inspiration because I really like horse riding and I want to compete in competitions, and so I will keep on continuing maybe forever. The ways I’m going to express myself is:
      Making tutorials
Making videos of me horse riding
Maybe preparing some horse riding questions for Pauline and sharing the answer with the class.
      And
Making a/or some power points on horse riding.

I really hope I can express myself in all these different ways. ;)

        February 1, 2012 at 5:44 pm

    Hi,
Cute Manga drawings inspire me. I try to draw them. Blythes (Blythes are a fashion doll) inspired me. They make me want to draw/paint them and write poems about them. Their clothes make me want to make them! Almost everything inspires me to do something.

I will write more when I have more ideas.

I love that last sentence – “almost everything inspires me to do something’. That shows me you will really take every opportunity you have in life and that is so important.

I am fascinated by these Blythe dolls, can you bring some in? Have you tried to make some of the clothes? Would you like to learn how to sew such small, delicate things?

    • Caitie : )
      February 1, 2012 at 4:58 pm

      Hi,
I want to express myself creatively by doing “Blythe art”. Blythe art is dressing up Blythes in odd outfits that I create and take photos of them.

        February 1, 2012 at 8:36 pm

I love it! Perhaps you could give each creation a name, like “Funky Blythe” or “Scruffy Blythe”. You could get really artistic and stylistic with your photos too, and maybe even create short comic strips using your photos… or animated videos!!!?

    Hi

What inspired me to start doing art is because everywhere I go I see art and I thought art was pretty cool so I started trying it out, than I thought to myself if I keep practicing I could become good at art. So I kept drawing and practicing and now I am much better than when I started so if I still practice more I could become even better than I am now.

An inspiring moment was when I visited Cambodia. What inspires me in Cambodia is the way the tuk tuk are and because the use american dollars. The tuk tuk inspires me because instead of having one tuk tuk they use one motorbike and stripped to the motor bike is a comfortable carriage so I really think that is creative. Another thing that inspires me in Cambodia is that they use american dollars in most countries they have their own money notes like Baht or Yen for and example.

At the moment drawing and soccer inspires me because art is still a passion of mine. Soccer inspires me right now because I getting better at it and I really enjoy since I play everyday and if I keep practicing I could be better than what I am right now.

You are a very good artist. That reminds me, you and I need to go and check out the exhibitions at the BACC – how about Thursday after school? If we like the exhibitions, we can take the whole class.

The Tuk Tuks sound very cool indeed. Can you find some good quality images of Cambodian Tuk Tuks?

  7. January 31, 2012 at 5:18 pm

What inspires me is people who are making a change in the world like Patrick Reynolds who is making a change in the smoking world, Jamie Oliver because he is making a change about what kids eat and JR for making the world more creative and putting a smile on everyone’s face when they walk down the street, these type of people inspire because when they make a change it makes me want to step up and do something too.

An inspiring experience that I have had in my life was when I went scuba diving with my family and I saw many colorful fish swimming around me and I saw beautiful corals – I even saw one that looked like a face! and I learned a lot about sealife and scuba diving signals it was a very inspiring experience.

At the moment people like JR are inspiring me because they are being creative and expressing themselves and that makes me want to do something like them and learn from that.

I really want to put my focus on cats and how they are treated and not given enough freedom, its really sad to see that some cats are lucky to have shelter and food but the cats in the school can hardly any food and I want to change that.

      • February 1, 2012 at 8:28 pm

I give them food. Bujt they dn’t come out anymore cauz STUDENTS play with them. They only come out when I call them. Which is a poop

      • Mr. Sam
        February 1, 2012 at 8:37 pm

You could start by finding out different people’s connections with the cats: people who do feed them, people who want them to stay, people who love them and then find creative ways to tell their stories.

  8. January 31, 2012 at 5:36 pm

What insipers me is to take care of street cats everywhere in Bangkok? I am a cat lover. I always think in my head if I was a street cat I would die of hunger so I go to a petshop or buy meat or fish. So I go downstairs to my apartment and feed a little kitten Hannah knows this cat. She gobbles the catfood and comes to me and rub my leg. When I went to Jimin’s house we took care of 4 cats. We gave them food and water. It came to us and rub our leg. :) So exactly my imagination inspires me to take care of the street catz.

What inspires me to do dancing? I love dancing. I make many moves with my friends Cat,Bella,Hannah and Hansa. We all think deeply . Would it match the song?? Would it be hard for some of us??? We put all the ideas together. We finished making the moves quickly. WE choose a song that we all love. We all love dancing. We allways to things together. It become succesful. We were planning to make some move to a song called dynamite. I think many of you know this song. Bt we were inturupted by the soccer (football) practices @ lunch. We are planning to continue making moves when we finish soccer (football).

First I thought I was HORRIBLE at dancing so i didn’t dance for a long time but when I saw my friends dancing I wanted to dance again. I am now happy that I satarted dancing.

At the moment what inspire me is football. When I saw my friends play socce afterschool looked fun but i didn’t want to join because I am bad at soccer but my friends told me to just try so i tried and it was actually fun. Now I love playing soccer. In the mornings I practice kicking the ball and steal the ball with my friends. When we play a soccer match in the mornings we ALWAYS end up with a big fight so we just played a game called pass the ball to anyone and steal the ball from anyone. It might look stupid to you guys but it is better than end up in the fight. :)
Also me doing something creative inspires me. When we have freedom, I sometime like to make something new. Sometime I like to play the dress up game but it went wrong last time the statue that Catie brought in fell top of Billy because we were tieing the string everywhere in the non-digital life and I tripped over and uh ohhhhhhhh the satue fell!!!!!!!!!!! Well last freedom time was not good but next freedom time I want to make something new to make 6ss room CREATIVE!!!!!!!! :) :) :D

        • February 1, 2012 at 8:33 pm

My imagination make me inspire them.

What inspired me to be a skateboarder was when I was little in Bulgaria my mother and I were walking through a skate park and when I saw all of the skateboarders doing crazy ticks and going really fast I thought that it looked like fun so I really wanted to try it. I loved the way I went really fast sitting on the skateboard when I was little that I desperately wanted to have my own skateboard ans since then I have been living the skater life.

An inspiring moment was when I perfected my Kick-flips because that got me thinking of all of the other tricks that the Kick-flip leads to and when I have perfected those I could make a video and try to get a sponsor.

At the moment skateboarding is still inspiring me because I really want to make a video, learn new tricks and try to get a sponsor.

    • Mr. Sam
      January 31, 2012 at 8:53 pm

I am really excited about giving you the chance to express your interest in skateboarding in the school. I don’t know if you’ll be able to actually skate in school, but you can certainly find creative ways to share your passion for it and to possibly get more people into it.

There’s lots of potential for this one to get quite big and maybe extend to the Exhibition. Let’s talk.

    • Stefan
      February 1, 2012 at 6:13 pm

I think that the thing that inspires me the the most is skateboarding because I love it, I am really passionate about it, I am really good at it and I want to keep on doing it forever.
I could express my passion in skateboarding by…

      - Making a skate tutorial
      - Taking photos and making posters
      - Making a “sponsor me” video and try to get sponsored by sending the video to different skate shops and skateboard companies.
      - Making a power point about skateboarding
      - And teaching other kids or adults how to skate.

I really hope that I can express myself through these ways.

    Hi everyone!

What inspires me the most is Heidi because I am always surprised she can speak to animals. I was inspired by her heart full of love and that made her to communicate with animals. I really want to be a person like that when I grow up.

Heidi always talks to the animals and express their emtions to people. She is kind of like the translator of animals and humans. She goes around the world and take care of the animals if they have no person they really can’t talk to. She helps them by saying nice words to them and making them believe people really love them.

A inspiring moment for me was when I actually once talked to my baby hedgehog! I looked at it’s eye just like Heidi do and I talked to it. I t told me that he loves our family very much and he wishes to go out more often and adventure around our house. I was surprised I could talk to it. Now, I want to talk to Spikey, who is really upset with something right now which I don’t know.

At the moment I am getting inspired by people who can communicate or could know animal’s feelings by their actions. I am inspired by it because I am really interested in animals and I love them alot. I really want to help them if they have difficulties in their lives.

    • January 31, 2012 at 6:58 pm

      Hi Vicky,
maybe we can work together on this animal communicating project because I am interested in this too.

      • February 1, 2012 at 6:14 pm

Thank-you Mr.Sam! I really found Temple Grandin really interesting. It is a gift to be able to communicate with them but I think the love and the understanding of the animals make them communicate with them too.

For this I think I want to express myself by making a big artwork or a Grapphitti in a size of our smartboard. I remember one of the quotes we wrote down in class which is ‘Creativity is Messy’. I think this is totally true and people who got also inspired by this please tell me and we can do this together!

If you want to check Heidi going to Korea, please click this link. It’s Korean but Heidi will explain what the animals are changing. Check out how the animals get different after talking to her!

    Hi 6SS,

All sports inspire me. I think athletes are amazing people they are always active and it is like they never ever stop and rest or do not do a challenge set to them, because of that I have always wanted to be an athlete! I am also inspired by people like Jamie Oliver who do not just waste their money on cars and actually go and help people in their lives! I was also inspired t become a football player because there was a footballer that played for Liverpool, his name was Billy Liddle he was amazing he was probably Liverpool’s best player ever!

I think all artists and muscician because they always make their own thing up that no one else made and it is their idea! I am inspired by Jamie Oliver because he does the things he loves to help people which is amazing! I am inspired by some people in my class that are well behaved I want to try be more like them! I am inspired by David Beckham because he is a football player but he also acts in movies and gives money to charity, he really is a great guy! I am inspired by actors because they can act as loads of different people and you need to be creative to do something like acting.

Playing and watching Colchester United has inspired me to become a football player and represent my country. I think being the special one this year has inspired me to become a more helpful person and not be mean to people. I think just being myself sometimes is an inspiration because it helps improve on my weaknesses! Another inspiration for me has been seeing people play football I want to be like the poffesionals and not just a amateur footballer! Molly inspires me because she is always really helpful and is not really ever mean!

At the moment most of my friend inspire me because they all have different strengths! Mr. Sam inspires me because he is good at a lot of things and is usually ‘perfect’! All people that do different things inspired me because they are balanced and do not just do one thing. Mr. Ben inspires me because he is an amazing footballer and really funny which are two things I really like and always like to do (as you can tell)! I am inspired by my maid Augest Rain because she is always so organized!

    Cheers,

    Billy

I’ve never heard of Billy Liddle – how did you hear about him? Have you watched videos of him playing?

Hey… I am definitely not perfect, you know that. It’s just a joke. I am certainly not perfect this week, it’s been a big challenge so far.

I love your comment, Billy, because you are overflowing with inspiration. Let’s tap into it and do some amazing things with it over the next few months, OK?

I am really inspired by sport it is just such a great thing their is nothing you could hate about it, you have the wind blowing in your face, people running with or after you and everything in sport is just FUN! I think I would help some of the kids who do not do any sport by just showing them what it is like! Or I might be able to just run some football practices once a week! This would really help some kids at NIST! ;)

    Hi,
The person who inspires me is Bill Gates baecause he is a very succesfull buisness man.
He also inspires me because he is a very nice man because he helps poor people in Africa.
He gave alot of money to charity. When i grow up i want to be a succesfull.cI also whant to help poor people in many places in the world. I want poverty to go down a lot.

Bill Gates has inspired me by his jenorosity and his good heart to help people.
One inspiring experence i had was when i went to Umeo. It is a city in sweden. I was inspered by one of my dads friends to not be afraid to touch worms to put it on a fishing pole. I was always afraid of touching worms :( . I am inspired now by a plastic bottle in the klong i saw when we went for that walk. It ispired me to never litter again because this is the reason the world is mesed up by the polution at the momment.

What do you think will be the biggest problem in the future, poverty or rubbish? Or do you think they are totally connected?

      • February 5, 2012 at 8:55 am

        Hi

I think trash is a bigger problem than poverty but i still want people to have a good life. Not a bad life. Maybe if we help them we can teach them to not litter and help with work that we need to tidy up this planet. :)

A lot of things and people inspire me to do many different things. Like playing soccer. Mari and Bella told me that they had signed up to play soccer, and I thought it was a good idea, so I joined, and then I inspired my friend Coty to play soccer to, and she did. A lot of other friends, like Vicky joined in too. I also got inspired by my sister, because she has had a lot of problems with homework, because she has a lot of homework to do since she in secondary, and she has to go to bed late, but then wake up very early to finish her homework, because her homework would be due to soon, that is why I try doing my homework right after I come home, and have had a snack to finish my homework on time. I usually finish my homework on time, and I then have a better, relaxed time at home. Other people, like Vicky have inspired me to be wiser because I can see that she constantly makes wise choices, and that she usually gets credit for that. Cities have inspired me to take care of plants, because I can hardly see any gardens, or plants around the city, and when I go somewhere with a lot of trees and plants, like where my cousins and grandparents live, because I can breathe in nice and fresh air, which is way healthier for me than polluted air.

I have had a lot of inspiring experiences in my life like moving to Bangkok, because it inspired me to learn more about the city Bangkok, and the country Thailand. Another inspiring experience for me was, you won’t believe it watching the movie Avatar, before watching it I always thought of how cool buildings with high tech were, and how much fun they were, and that it was one of the coolest things to live in. But then I realized(after watching the movie) that nature itself is one of the coolest things there could be.

Right now I am inspired by the cats at school, because a lot of people have very different opinions about what we should do to them and it has become a discussion, and I think cats deserve to live a good life, not stuck in a cage, or being killed, because they are living things, and they should be treated like they really are that. Not a leaf on the ground that could be stepped on. I am also inspired by JR, and his photography, because it is a very creative way to show that you care. I care about a lot of things, but I don’t really know how to express that.

This is an amazingly powerful comment, Hannah. You have expressed yourself so beautifully and revealed so much about who you are and what makes you unique.

I LOVE what you said about Avatar because it shows me that you really understand the message the movie is trying to convey. I found it to be a very special message, but also a very sad one because I’m not sure everybody understands it.

I had an interesting idea about how you could combine your inspiration by the cats and JR – let’s talk tomorrow!

    • Hannah
      February 1, 2012 at 5:01 pm

I want to focus on giving the Cats at school freedom, and a home because I think it would be unfair to them, and I would feel bad, knowing that there are other cats living in luxury, and then there is this school, leaving cats to be killed by someone.

    Hi 6SS,
What inspired me to play basketball was a basketballer named Chris Paul, he was a very good basketball . I watch basketball on TV when i was about like 7 or 8 and he was a very good player. He shows teamwork good shots and skills. It was very fun watching basketball on TV and so when I got older there was a basketball match at NIST and I stayed after school and watched it and i got to see good basketballers play each other in real life, after the friendly match it was a very good experience to watch some good players play it other, it was very cool in basketball when you make a swish so that inspired me to play basketball, and whenever i watch basketball and players show their skills and scores, and OF COURSE SCORE SWISHES it makes me really want to play basketball the best I can!! These are some examples of Chris Paul, and how cool swishes are……
Chris Paul Is Number 3, and he is a point guard so he brings the ball up and he mostly assist more than scoring!

And this video is about DUNKING I am quite sure you guys will like it! Especially the boys.

And This is my favorite The swishes!

You would have a way better experience if you get to watch the swish shots in real life, it would be way more interesting.

Chris Paul inspired me through his actions by going creative moves for example if he has an open shot he would go for a harder cooler dunk for example a 360 dunk or a reverse dunk rather than a normal dunk or he would go for an easy shot! He has a lot of skills so rather than keeping it to himself he made a TV show about basketball techniques and stuff like that.
He also has a very good team spirit, whenever his team is losing he cheers his teammate up and his team ends up winning or a tie to the other team. So for me team spirit is very important.
When i scored in basketball my first one, It was a very cool swish so it made me want to play basketball and get good at it. SO I started practicing and now i got in the A team for basketball. Basketball is a team sport so I need to not be selfish and know that we are playing basketball in a team, together, we are playing for the team to win we are not playing for ourselves, and people who haven’t learnt that is not going to succeed in basketball sp thats why I don’t wanna score all the time!
The thing that is inspiring me right now is the artist Mr. Kelly showed us in class, which when he sees bricks or and broken part of a building or wall he uses lego to fix it. I think he is very creative because he does that for free and he doesn’t mind wasting the lego when it falls of because a kid is gonna find it and play with it, I also think he is creative because he just makes the walls or the building brighten up, make it look more colorful. And it is also eye catching! It can make a old city a lovely city!!

    Hi,
What inspires me the most is taking care of animals because I really like them. I agree what Vicky said about the animal communicator called Heidi. I watched some video Vicky posted and Heidi made me inspire her really much. What I really want to be when I grow up is Animal Communicator and a person who loves animals for real like Vicky said.

Heidi made me inspire her by communicating to animals making eye contact and also her actions to animals. She expresses her feelings to animals in a honest way and I think that’s why animals trust her. I think Heidi is really creative because not many people can communicate will animals but she can in a very creative way.

Once, I talked to one soi cat in our apartment called Goldfur. He always meow to me and blink his eyes slowly. Once I tried to ask him if he liked the food I gave to him and I don’t know why but he blinked his eyes and tried to say yes to my question. I was so amazed by this/

Now, I am searching on Google: ‘Animal communicate’ So I can work on talking to animals. Also I watch Heidi’s video on YouTube. I really want to communicate to animals like Vicky. Maybe I can work together with her on communicating with them.

This is such an interesting thing to be inspired by. Many of us are becoming more and more disconnected from nature and from animals, particularly people who live in cities. We really need people like you take take us back to the simple things in life and to help us to understand that creatures that we share our planet with.

I am inspired by animals because I want to know all the animals that are poison or gentle so when i see a poison animal I can run away. I also want to be a vet when I grow up so now when I have free time I go to the internet and kind information on animals.

Albert Einstein inspired me because he was the best scientist in that time and also he invented things that are now popular. he also inspire me by how much work he has done I read that sometime his experiment is 2 years long !

My inspiring time of my life is when I went to the walk last time it inspire me because I thought we were going to see stray dog but instead we saw cats ! It also inspired me because I never walked along the klong and went I went there it was really smelly.

The thing that are inspiring me right now is how my dog is acting she sometime is really hyper and sometimes she is really sleepy right now she in kind of hyper. Also when she in hyper she bites people and now it really hurts.

    Love :Gina :D

      January 31, 2012 at 9:13 pm

You could combine your interests in science and animals by experimenting to see if there is any connection between your dog’s behaviour and what it has eaten. Food often has a very strong effect on animals – and people. Maybe try giving the dog different things and seeing if her behaviour changes. We can talk tomorrow about this.

i am inspired by wakeboarding because it lets me do what i want to to in life.

i would say that pro wakeboarders and wakeskaters inspire me because they allways make me want to improve and try new things so i can improve and maby one day i could be a pro and i could inspire others.

i think that my inspireing experiences are when i ride at different cables and do comps because it steps up my riding and it also tells me what i need to work on so i can win the next comp and also meet new riders and they could help me to improve and also the different obstacles could also step up my riding.

what is inspiring me at the moment is that like its winter in europe ale of the european pro riders come to thailand and they all tell me ways to improve and what to work on to i can one day be like them.

i could express my passion for wake boarding creatively by making a wake board/ wake skate movie.
Have a field trip organized at the wake park and teach my classmates how to wake board.
Make a powerpoint /poster about wake boarding.
And maybe ride in the Nist swimming pool with a winch.

I am inspired by people like Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawking, the Wright brothers, and Samuel Langley, etc. They were people who contributed to technology, engineering, design, science, and mathematics etc. People like them change the way we think about something. They try to express their thoughts and opinions even if someone is blocking their creativity and ideas. A good example of this is Stephen Hawking, because even though he has Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), he still expresses his ideas to people and is one of today’s most recognized thinkers and physicists. There was even one TED talk where he was talking. Technology, engineering and design are some of my favorite things to look at in my free time.

I am inspired by creative engineering, technology and innovation, to do some designing and thinking of my own. Some of my most favorite websites are:

    http://psipunk.com/

    http://fgadgets.com/

These two website feature really cool and innovative designs, some of which are already in use today. For example, on fgadgets, there is an article and video about a cybertecture mirror, which you can use to check stocks, news, social networking sites, time, temperature, local traffic, energy consumption, health data, messages etc, while you are doing makeup and stuff like that- http://fgadgets.com/future-gadgets/cybertecture-mirror-by-james-law-video

I haven’t checked out every article on fgadget yet, but here are some some of my favorite categories so far:

    http://fgadgets.com/category/projector

    http://fgadgets.com/category/home-gadget

fgadget is really, really cool, and I suggest you check it out sometime!

Here are some of the Videos featured on the website:

    Hi,

What inspires me are photos and pictures. They inspire me and give me ideas for stories. For example, a photo of a globe may inspire me to write a story about someone travelling around the world.

Helen Keller inspires me because she never gave up hope even though she was born deaf and blind. Her tutor, Anne Sullivan also inspired me because she also didn’t give up on Helen who was deaf, blind and also made herself hard at first because she was impatient and threw tantrums.

An inspiring experience was when I walked around Vietnam. There were many things to see like vendors selling wooden dragonflies that balanced on your finger or Pho – the Vietnamese noodles and the different/special landmarks.

I agree with Melis – right now, people like JR are inspiring. They believe in something and make it happen.

    Hello 6SS,

I am inspired in dancing I always wanted to be a dance teacher when I grow up. I feel I want to be one because whenever we have to dance for a wedding I am always so excited to learn the steps I also am always excited about the songs that I am going to dance to. My only problem in dancing is that when I dance in front of public I always get that feeling in my mind that I will not do well but when i practice I am always active and exciting.

All people who make songs inspire me because if I listen to a Indian song that I like I always want to dance to it I listen to new Indian songs. I am but I dance to English songs sometimes too I am mostly like to sing English songs than dance them. I get very excited when I have to dance like in the the P.E dance i was very excited.

My inspiring time of my life is when we did the P.E dance because I had never thought of dancing to firework. It was hard for me to think of the steps to the song I was nervous when I got on stage but after a while I was happy because everyone was cheering for me and Gina I was very proud of myself.

The thing that is inspiring me now is listening to new songs to dance to and I am looking for good active Indian songs to dance to because my uncles wedding is coming up and I am so excited I am looking for English songs too so that I can dance with my friends at the wedding.

This is one of my favorite songs right now.

This movie Don 2 is a hit movie and one of my favorite songs is in here. My dad’s friend is in this movie too.

I think what really really inspires me is dancing I think what I am going to do that will be creative I will get one karaoke song and make up my own English song myself. What I want to do is record the song and dance to it I will also take a video of me dancing to my own made up song. I might put it on you tube and put it on the blog if I have access if I don’t I will show it to the class. I think this is a great way to express my inspiration because making my own song is creative and dancing to it with my own made up steps would be a FANTABULISTIC IDEA!!!

      I hope my plan works.

I am inspired by a puppy because I wanted to have my own puppy so I could train my dog and get it in a dog show. Also you can teach puppies to do amazing tricks. I wanted to get my puppy in a dog show because I’ve see many people doing it in the magazines/TV. It really looks fun especially the agility course and obstacle they made for the competition so when I get a puppy I will do my best to train it. Once I trained my neighbors’s puppy to sit and to do basic tricks. But I never got to take it to the dog show.
I agree with Caitie that everything kind of inspires me but I’m mostly inspired by puppies

      January 31, 2012 at 9:34 pm

      February 1, 2012 at 6:17 pm

I’m choosing the dog training one because I really want to do it. I’m going to share my ideas by videoing me trying to train my puppy once a week and I will also do a PowerPoint which has the video in it. I think that will be a good way to do it because you can see that I’m improving in the video and I can also improve my PowerPoint skills if I make a PowerPoint because I don’t really use a PowerPoint so well so am going to improve.

      • Mr. Sam
        February 1, 2012 at 8:51 pm

I think you should focus on the video. Film yourself trying to train your puppy and make little documentaries about it. That will be amazing!

  27. January 31, 2012 at 11:03 pm

    Hi everyone!

Many people have inspired me in my life but one of my biggest inspirations is from Nobuyuki Tsuji, a Japanese famous blind pianist. He was born blind but he got over his difficulties with his hard work and he finally won the gold medal in the international piano competition in 2009. When I saw him on television I thought he was an ordinary person playing piano but I asked my mom and she said that he was blind. I was really amazed with the melody and how harmonic it was. I couldn’t believe he couldn’t see the keyboard or his hands. I wondered how much time, energy and passion he had put into his piano lesson. I don’t think I could play like him, but he teaches me a lesson that whatever I do I shouldn’t give up so easily. I often think of him when I practice my piano.

My other inspiration was by my friend in secondary school called Ken Pei one of Mr. Sam’s former students. I used to play soccer when I was little like year 1 and 2. But In year 3 I got badly injured in soccer and I stopped playing it. I forgot most of my skills that I learned in those two years. But in year 5 I saw group of year 6 (now year 7) playing in the pitch. I really wanted to play with them but I was afraid that they would say no. But I met this guy called Ken and we became friends. One day he let me play with them. It was really fun and not to ruff. He helped me get my inspiration to play soccer again!

Also Madhav had inspired me to do art. I didn’t really like drawing and I didn’t do that much drawing but Madhav told me and showed me his work and I was so fascinated that I started drawing. When I saw his work it was very realistic and cool. I wanted to do one like his drawing.

My grandmother has inspired me in cooking. She made me start cooking. By watching her cook it made me want to cook and learn about new recipes. It was inspiring just by looking at her make the food.

I think Vin has also inspired me with his actions. He has been wise ever since the year started and I really was amazed so I also started being wiser than last year. Ever since we met I was amazed how he reacts to things and how he fights back for his own rights if there is something wrong. His ideas were also brilliant. In the last Freedom he was making a model for a nuclear car with some other people. He went on the internet to get some models and ideas from it and he was doing really unique stuff.

Also Tammy has inspired me by how she thinks. She builds a roller coaster using paper. She was making cool things in the coaster. She cut a red bull bottle camp and placed it on the roller coaster so it looks like it was sponsored by red bull. She also made a tunnel at some point. In Year 5 I was inspired by how she acts because we had to do a project together and she was reliable and she was very helpful. She listened to my things that I said and add on to it. She was also supportive and she always puts 100% of effort into her work.

The inspiring experiences that I had in my life were playing against I.S.B. It was inspiring because it made me feel something that I never felt before. It made me want to play more and more. It also made me excited even more than the normal games that we play at school for lunch and break. It felt that I wasn’t me anymore.

Another inspiring experience that I had in my life was that when we were heading to school to finish our walk. There was a homeless guy who was poor and he painted his face all white and had blue shorts and was eating from the spirit house. When I saw him that made me stop. I was like a statue frozen. Once I saw him many questions came into my mind. It was like rain drops. Every second a new question comes about that guy.

One of my best inspiring experiences in my life was when we just lied down and looked at the beautiful stars above us at Kanchanaburi. It was my first time ever doing that. It made me want to do it more and more and more. You can discover a lot of things just by looking at the stars. I saw a shooting star thanks to that.

At the moment like I said I am inspired in art, rapping, Sudoku, cooking, looking, piano, soccer and so on. I have many things that I am inspired at the moment. But what I am most inspired about right now is soccer. Every day I come into my house I practice some ball skills, when I am free pretend to score a penalty and celebrate, I also practice diving on the bed (But my mom usually stops me after two or three dives). I really like soccer and as you know I play soccer every day.

This is my proof to tell you that I am not a boring person who is bored every single day but a creative person who is unique and gets inspired into a lot of things that is happening around the world.

Whoops! Of course, Mr. Sam is the most inspiring teacher I’ve ever met.

    hi everyone
actually when i think about it a lot of things inspires me one is this goalie that became famous for his incredible save. Another thing is a Thailand’s got talent this guy could play guitar with one hand because he cant feel his other hand i sort of feel sorry for him but he inspires me because he never gave up guitar.

people that have inspired me with there ideas are Steve jobs because he didn’t even go to university and everybody said give up or you will never succeed but he said I will and he did. Another one was Pablo Picasso everybody laughed at his art and said apples arent purple but he was creative and said they could be.
An inspiring experience was when i saw this thai artist and took a picture with him.

    Hi 6SS,
What inspired me to play basketball was a basketballer named Chris Paul, he was a very good basketball .
    /

Honestly it is just WONDERFUL! And it is also eye catching! It can make a old city a lovely city!!

    Hi 6SS,

Graffitti inspires because it is a differnt way to express yourself. It is a great time becasue Mr. Aron said we will do some street art during art class and graffitti is street art. I thought that i could make my own graffitti and taking pictures of it cool angles and then editing them and then putting them on flickr.

      Hi,
I think animal communicating inspires me the most because I really like animals. I really inspire Heidi and her skills. I would like to try find out how to communicate with animals. Yesterday, I visited Heidi’s website and looked at how she put her effort in speaking with animals. The most interesting thing is Heidi doesn’t speak at all. She makes eye contact with animals and she predicts their feelings. She was right most of the time. I thought: ‘Wow! I really inspire her!’ I am really interested in this subject and I will work on this properly!

The thing that inspires me the most is science experiments. Because I like it when they mix things together then it has a chemical reaction. Also the way that it can help me express myself is like what Mr Sam said about that every body is a chemical. Soif lot’s of people mix together such as no offense to Aryan, pan, Zola and Billy mixed together the next thing you know is a nuclear bomb and with verbal diahria coming out. :)

I don’t really know which one to choose, but I think food also inspires me because I like tasting and trying new things from different cultures. I express myself in a different way and show the joy of eating. At home we cook different styles of food and if i think its really good I say it out(not keeping it inside) and ask lots of questions. Food also inspires me because I like cooking and watching how different people make it.

Sorry I do not think I wrote a detailed enough comment about what I am mostly inspired by. I really, really love cats, I had once adopted three cats that the security guards found in a broken telephone box, near our apartment, they gave the cat to the receptionist, who thought we would take good care of it, so my mom went to a shop to buy milk powder, for the kittens, because they weren’t allowed to drink normal milk. That evening ha been one of the most exciting evenings I had ever had. We had to put them in a basket overnight, because they were to weak to go around the apartment, and maybe hurt themselves badly. At around 1:00 am my parents woke up and had to feed them milk, because they were hungry, and my parents could hear them. At 4:00 or 5:00 am, it was Paula, and my turn to make milk for them. We are not allowed to have cats in my apartment, so we always had to hide the cats, whenever we went outside with them, my mom put posters around where we live, to adopt cats, she also went to school with friends for children at school to see if they can adopt a cat, because we were’t allowed to keep them. After a while my mom told the person we were renting the apartment from, and she had said that we could keep them until we found owners, but not too long.My german teacher adopted one of the cats, Sebi’s family adopted the other, and the last one was adopted by a family from Pattana. Westill visit the last one adopted by the family from Pattana.

I am inspired by the animals every where. I might express it in a power point because my goal is to make power points and share it to the class and the power is going to be dangerous animals and you will find that one type of shell can kill a person and you will find out more soon. I also think its a good idea because then people will know what type of animals you can touch and ones you don’t touch because normally people touch animals that they fink on the ground or near them but people don’t exactly know if its safe or not.

    Hi,

The things that express myself is art. It expresses myself because art can show your feelings and thoughts because if your drawings are really messy that shows that you are a pretty messy person, If your drawing is really neat that shows that you are neat and tidy person. If you are drawing or sketch is really dark pencil mark that means maybe you are angry or stressed, if your is soft drawings shading and detail that means that you are pretty happy and enjoying your art. These are not all the time these are sometimes. I express my personality by doing some of these things.

the thing that inspires me (actually its a person) is Steve Bobs because he came from nothing to being one of the most rich and successful people on the planet. He changed the world and made it in someways better if you don’t count people being addicted to the Ipod and mac. He made everyone think anything is possible.I think that he is a great man with great ideas and i bet when he showed his ideas to people everybody laughed and said that is not possible but that did not stop him it made him more determined to do it he made his ideas into real life.
