Thank you Year 6 Parents

Yesterday the Year 6 students were treated to a fun Pool Party with smoothies to celebrate a very successful first semester in Year 6. The students enjoyed many fun games in the pool and then some delicious smoothy drinks prepared by many of our Year 6 parents.

It really was a great thing to see with so many parents creating a wide range of flavour combinations for us all to try.

On behalf of the students and the Year 6 Team, I’d like to say a big thank you to all of the parents who came along to make the smoothies. Thanks also to all the parents who sent along all the healthy ingredients that were used.

Our thanks also go to the PE staff who made themselves available to supervise as life guards.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of you a very happy and safe festive season. Please enjoy this opportunity to spend some quality time with your wonderful children. I look forward to seeing many of you very early on Tuesday, January 10th.

Artist Finds New Hidden Images in Mona Lisa Painting

An artist in New York has found a series of hidden images in Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece, the “Mona Lisa.” Artist Ron Piccirillo says that if you turn the painting sideways, you can see an outline of a lion, an ape, and a buffalo around.

Civilization

Hi,

This a very interesting video. I think it shows us that we live in a crazy, cool world! Just think about how far we’ve come. Look at the ancient Roman civilization. It was cool and it had great architecture but it didn’t have all the technology that we have today. Do you think it’s a good thing that we have so much technology and such a built-up civilization? Or so you think that it is hindering humanity more than helping humanity?  Please watch and enjoy!
