What about this idea?

What do you think about this idea? How might it cause a shift in thinking? How might it change the course of history in Bangkok? What might it look like? What ideas do you have for the “Skywalk”?

I think this is a great idea because I dont like walking in crowded areas. I think it will look a bit like a bridge

I agree with Michael-I don’t like crowded areas. This is a superb ideas to reduce pollution, cars, traffic and everything else. But if we build this, we need money. There are less cars-great but if everyone decides to use the bt15bn, no cars means no money for police, and no point of the roads. I love the idea of the elevated walkspace and the reducing cars thing, but the BMA may have to do a bit more of thinking about the future by the compass lenses. This is in my point of view. It may cause a shift in thinking by people would walk, become more fit, cars would reduce, bangkok will be more technologic and green environmental. Car companies may not earn money, motorcyclces, taxi drivers and tuk-tuks will reduce down and it effects a lot of Thailands’ strong Thai tradition. This idea may enable street venders to walk across the streets easily, but they may have to go up to the skywalk to sell. Im not sure if its allowed. But if the people who walk at the normal sidewalk, they would probably choose to go on a elevated walkway so who would be on the streets? Small shops may decrease their profit and reputation.
If we do this idea, Thailands’ course of history will be changed from driving and pollution to walking and environmental. I think the elevated walkway will look like the ones in the airport but tons wider. It would be the same level as the BTS; or a bit lower to still enable walks from the BTS to certain places. The roof and groud would probably be the same style of the BTS.
