Day One in 6SS
This slideshow requires JavaScript.
These pictures show the 6SS students working on a drawing. I gave them a blank sheet of good quality paper and asked them to draw whatever they wanted to in one hour. I am looking to see:
- How creative they are
- How well they can concentrate
- What is in their minds!
I’ll publish some of their drawings on here later.

Ooooo that sounds fun
Are you being sarcastic Johann?
He is being sarcastic
No i cant draw in my class
You will probably get a chance to use drawing in some classes later.
Yea When i have art in MAD
Have you already turned the heat up on them because we already have homework!
Not yet, we’re having quite a relaxed start to the year!
Are the students in your class as good as us?
They are the same as you guys were at the start of Y6!
This is so interesting
These guys seem like some of the people who we talked to for the exhibition! Do they already have their membership on blog and on email? the classroom must be in the old building now, shouldn’t it? From the photos I see… only the desks seem to be in a different shape than I left them. Rest everything seems same! I wish I was still in 6ss or 7ss! I wish the new 6ssians luck!!!
Rimjhim
Only one of them came to 6ss to talk about the exhibition – Johann – I have another one!
Aaah more fresh meat for the grinder………. just kidding hello new 6ss! Hope you learn a lot this year since you have a really good teacher, good luck and good bye.
Are you saying goodbye because you’re never going to comment again?
Um no.
Good!!!
These guys must be a lot like when we started because a lot of their comments are similar to ours! When we were beginning yr 6 a lot of the boys talked only about what sport they liked. And are they open-minded about the girl boy thing?
