My interpretation to this quote is that people are wasting time in many ways like people who normally are stagnant and do nothing that is quite as important in their lives. Many people have amazing abilities that could make significant changes in the world but most are just too lazy to get out and do things that can be quite important.
I think you’re right, Ping Ping. However, the quote has a more positive feeling than that,it says what wonderfiul things we can achieve if we really try, if we use our time well and do as much as we can.
I agree Mr Sam
What I think is:
“Its too easy to start but too hard to stop”.
If we started living with the future in mind 100 years ago, we wouldnt be in this nasty, horrible situation.
Hi Ranvir,
Do you mean “it’s too hard to start but too easy to stop?”
no. I set it the right way. I think…
it means it we are doing something we can do it really well…..I think
Hi Nathan,
Sort of, we can do things really well if we are always doing them. If we just do a little bit occasionally, we won’t achieve as much.
I also agree to this comment!
I think that if you never stop and keep doing you will achieve. People nowadays want a better life but they don’t work for it.
Well… actually people these days do work hard. They work hard to earn more money. They earn more money to buy more things. Most people don’t know what you know and understand the things you understand.
But Mr.Sam,
In my opinion things like saving the environment, people already know we’re polluting but they don’t care.
Hey Mick, You use the Utopia quote.
Yes, he did – well-spotted, Ranvir!
I think that the quote means that if you do something a little at a time, when time passes, you will see that you actually have done a lot. Its like doing a small ammount of something but you do it regularly which makes in the future things a lot
I think it means that we have amazing work, workers and machinery that we can make amazing things like fake rain, machinery, big dog (the scary robot), etc. But if we never stopped working we could make even more amazing things like if we never stopped working since 1900 we would probably have made things like a flying car or a hover board. People also stop working because people want to spend time with their family and some people probably don’t care about new inventions because we already have so much!!
I must agree with you,
Get well soon!
I really like the quote it makes me think a lot of what possibilities it could means. I think it means when you work and are always on track and use your time well it would lead to success and how it surprises you when you work with full of passion in your soul to actually work and not get irrelevent.
“It is wonderful how much can be
done if we are always doing.”
Thomas Jefferson
I think it means we can do anything wonderful when we are always doing it. For example, there are many inventions in the past decade. We never stop thinking on what to do. The more effort and time we give wonderfull.
I agree with ALL of the comments
