Write a comment to explain some of the ways that you have been lucky in your life. How similar or different is “luck” in your life and “luck” in Jamal and Bibi’s life?

I think that I am lucky because I am wealthy and I live in a fairly big house and I have everything I need for my life.

I think that I’m lucky because I have a house, enough food, a family, a place with no land mines and a comfortable lifestyle.
I think that I am lucky because I was born into a family that has provided me with
evrything that I need. I also think that I am lucky to have such a great education that will prepare me for university and that wil make me sucssesful and happy in my life.
I think I am lucky because I have enough food to eat everyday and can go to school and learn and also I live in a quite big house and not really need to be worried to step on a landmine or other explosive things
I think I am lucky because I have many things which include food,a house to live in and many more things which make us have a successful life. But we are lucky because we have things which we need and want. Want is a word which means that you dont neccessarily need to have the item, for example, PSP. When I started reading the book I relized that people have to be happy for what they have even though it is not enough.
Well theres 2 kind of luck for me there a luck that I just say if my friends get something better than me but its not really luck but then there’s a true luck for me which is like how we are born perfectly, we have a house to live in and for sure we know that no bombs will fall onto our house. We have more than enough food and money. We have everything more that enough. like nowaday some people can’t even survive without a computer. There’s all this I-phone and I-pod touch and PS3’s. People who live in a poor country don’t even have what we have not even a great education so get the best out of this life.
I think i am lucky that we can go to a good school with Mr. Sam and also that we don’t live in the time where thire is so many wars. Its also lucky that we have all the diferent kinds of games and also computers.(I am using it now)
I’m very lucky because I get to play tennis with very good and pro trained coaches, I’m studying in an expensive school [I hate Nist's system though], I have more than enough money to spend hastly and Bibi’s family has just enough money for food and rent. No soccer classes, no school [outdoors] and no very our-type lovely lifestyle.
I think that I am lucky because we get to go to a very good school and also a very expensive one, I have a big and comfortable house, I have a great family, I am healthy also is my family, I have food and water to drink and eat. What you want is something that is not necessary, it doesn’t mean that if you don’t have what you want you are going to die.
I think I’m lucky because I have a loving family and no landmines in the area (I think). I’m also lucky because I go to a very good school.
I think I am very lucky than to Bibi or Jemal because the community I live in is more civilized and I have a good education and study.
I think i am very lucky because i have a roof over my head, education, freedom and food.
Jermal and Bibi don’t have the freedom part so thats why i think i am very lucky.
I know that I’m really lucky because when I’m in my car driving to school or to anywhere I see lots of people begging and also we have everything we need and want. I think luck is when you have everything you need and sometime more. Everyday my mom tells me about children and people who do not have food and need to search in rubbish cans to find it. But in Jamals and Bibi’s life luck is when you have a home which isnt ruined and could be in any moment or day or when you have survived all the land mines and also that your family is safe.
I am really lucky to be with my parents because they are kind and nice to me and a respect them back. I am also lucky because I live in a house with my parents and my dog and I feel good when I am with them. I have good education and I go to a good school and I get to eat food when ever I want and I am born with legs and arms

I’m lucky because I get to go to a good school and I have a very nice mum. I’m also lucky to have everything I need. I’m also lucky to have all the cool technological stuff.
I get to have freedom to do most of the things I want to do. Like to get a video game or get the foods I like. My luck and Jamal and Bibi’s life are super different. For example where Jamal and Bibi lived was dangerous, they were lucky because they did not get hurt. I am luck because I get most of the things that I want.
I am lucky because I have more than enough things at home, my family is quite rich, I can go to a very good school, I can travel to lots of places on the holiday, I still have parents, I can get 100 baht of pocket money each week, I can walk to school without being blown up or don’t need to worry about a bomb going “poof” on my roof and I can go to museums, go kart tracks etc.

I think that I am very lucky because I am born with all of the limbs and every single organ inside me and I was also born healthy without any mental problems. Another thing that makes me lucky is that I am born with a whole family that cares and loves me as well as the community that I am in: NIST. This is a very welcoming community because it seems that lots of people are friends with each other. My family is the most welcoming community to my life because I see them everyday and there is no need to go out to get other places for love. My type of “luck” is quite different to Jamal and Bibi’s life because of the fact that I have more freedom because there are no landmines in my area and I have a loving family that stays with me all of the time. I will take action in the future that is helping charities for earthquakes and tsunamis that will happen in the future.

I’m very fortunate to be living in a big beautiful house. Under this shelter I get to sleep in a comfortable bed, get to eat good healthy food and wear good clothes. I go to a very good International school. I feel myself very fortunate to have loving parents who provide me with everything I need.
I’m lucky because I can have every thing that I want and that I want to do. Also I can eat what ever I want, I can live with my lovly family, I can live in nice and comfortable house, I can have my own room and I can go to a very nice school every day….also I could live at the place where there are no landmines and a place where it’s nice and wonderful.
My luck is to come to Bangkok and to be with my father.
